Back at MM there are two women who are wondering what is going on? Both know something fishy is happening and yet neither can put their finger on it. On this side of the house its Rashi. On the phone with her mom trying to figure out where their favorite punching bag went. Urmi was waiting for Gopi to return, she had a lot of projects that she wanted Gopi to complete for her. Now she was stuck with all the work and that choti Kagdi was of no help. Urmi even tried to have Jeetubhai call and find out but he refused saying Gopi is fine otherwise she would have surely called me.

And on the other side of the house its Kokila. She is trying to figure out where Ahem took Gopi and why did he refuse to answer about Gopi's where about when Rashi had asked...even when she asked him later in private She wanted to make sure that Gopi would not create another problem in Ahem's work schedule. Ahem was finally back on track and he was concentrating where he should be. He was away from home every night, but she figured he is a man and a man has needs...this way he can get his jollies and not have to worry about her effecting his work. Koki was going to get to the bottom of this mystery girl in Ahem's life. As long as she knew her place Koki would allow this relation to continue. Otherwise she would have to intertwine and put a stop to this foolishness. For now Koki had to remain very diligent about what was going around the house...espically Ahem and his actions.

Urmi and Rashi were wondering what was going on. They decided to meet the next day in pretense of going shopping. They were in the market looking at some home decorations when Rashi saw Gopi in a mirror on the wall of the store. She turned around and made Urmi watch as well. Gopi had gotten out of a car with a older looking gentleman. UrShi were shocked. They thought they were seeing things. Gopi was with another man? An older man? What is going on here? Urmi told Rashi to use this opportunity to blast the family indirectly about how Gopi was ruining the Modi name. They decided to follow but the crowd was too thick. They were stuck watching from a distance. They could see Gopi, but the gentleman that was with her was evasive in showing his face. They saw the man put his arms around Gopi's shoulder and Gopi in turn leaned her head on his shoulders. The man patted Gopi's head and then they both left. They walked into a jewelry store and Gopi bought mangalsutra a pair of gold kangans and the man paid for it. UrShi were left there gasping and watching this unpad gawar getting gold jewelry and clothes from this man. Who was he and why was he buying Gopi a mangalsutra and kangans? They saw the man then lead Gopi back to their car and they left...leaving UrShi fuming in their wake. UrShi were mad as hell that she was still living the good life while they were living such a horrible and dissatisfying life.

On the other side of the story...Parag and Gopi had gone shopping at Ahem's insistence. Ahem had told his dad about remarrying Gopi. Parag had given his blessings and asked how he could help? Ahem told him to get whatever Gopi needed for the wedding...but she should not be told about the plan. Ahem knew if she found out she would have insisted on having the whole family present. And Ahem knew this is something they have to do by themselves. Atleast for now. Parag had made Gopi buy the mangalsutra so that she could have a fresh start. Ahem and he had discussed the idea and Parag had loved it and wanted to help in any way he could. Parag was also happy that Ahem was confiding in him some of his darkest fears. Something Ahem had not done since he was young. Koki had made sure to separate him from his children so they would not be influenced by him or his way of living. After they came home Gopi went straight to work. She thought that they were going to do a puja so as to keep the evil eye away from her and Ahemji. Gopi didn't understand why Papaji had insisted on buying the mangalsutra but Gopi was only to happy to have another reminder of her and Ahemji's nishana. Ahem had called MM and said he was taking some very important people out for dinner so he would not be home till the next day. When Koki tried to pry out of him what is going on he just said you won't understand how the business is run mom, so don't worry.

During the dinner at MM, Rashi tried to instigate the Gopi story. She started out by crying and saying she had something to say but was ashamed to say it. Koki taunted her saying it never stopped her before so why stop now. Rashi just said "Nahi Kakiji, it's just that when I was at the market with my mom this afternoon I saw Gopi there shopping. She was with another man and he was buying her sarees and jewelry. They even bought a mangalsutra. Everyone at the table gasped. Koki fumed and started yelling at Rashi saying what is the need to insult Gopi vau when she is not here anymore? Rashi said I am just stating what I know and there is no reason to be angry with me, as I am the only one who saw it and I am ashamed to say she is my sister. I never thought my sister would go out and not only remarry but ruin the Modi name in the process. Rashi went on to continue how she saw those two hug like lovers and how disgusted she and her mom were. Hetal and Koki just looked at each other and said this does not sound right. I wish we knew the whole story. Rashi said Mummyji I am speaking the truth. I swear on my own Mummy. This time Koki knew that Rashi was telling the truth. Rashi may have been cunning and a liar but she would never take her own mothers name in vain. Koki tried to call Ahem to tell him but he was not picking up the phone. Koki had wished this one time Parag would have been home. At least she would have someone to talk to about all this.

When Ahem came home Parag made an excuse and left those two alone. Ahem took Gopi's hand and led her to their bedroom. He made her sit and said listen to me carefully and please try to understand what I am trying to say and do. Ahem got on his knees and sat across from Gopi. He took her hand in his and said "Gopi I know I have hurt you a lot in the past. I have called you names and I have never looked at you lovingly. But Gopi, none of my tricks to stay away from you worked. You managed to make a horrible person like me into a loving person. Gopi, this all happened because I fell in love with you. Ahem watched as he waited to let it all sink in for Gopi. She just looked at him and he saw the tears forming in her eyes. He said I know it may be hard to believe but I am very much in love with you. I have been for a while now. I think when you got lost in Switzerland I started to look at you differently. But then gradually during the janamashtmi puja when you were kidnapped or when you cried on my shoulders because you were caught cheating in school...there are so many instances Gopi that it is hard to list them all. I just want you to know I am also sorry you had to take your vows back to make me happy. I am sorry for every tear you had to shed because I did not know your worth. But today, I am here and I love you and I want a chance to show you how much I love you. Saying that Ahem took a box out of his pants pocket and pulled out a diamond ring and held it in front of Gopi and said Gopi my love, my life, will you marry me and make me your forever? Gopi didn't know what to say so she just nodded yes. She jumped on Ahem and hugged him..in the process they both fell on the floor with Gopi on top of Ahem and both hugging and holding each other. Ahem then felt his heart swell and said Gopi, I am so happy today. I want us to marry now. Lets go. Gopi said but how can we marry so fast? Ahem said I have been planning this since morning. I told Kaka everything and made him promise not to tell anyone at home. And he also gave me 3 days off to enjoy you after we are married. And he is going to tell the family I have to go on a business trip tomorrow. Papa is going to go home tonite and it is going to be...you and I...here...together...alone. And Gopi I plan to make you mine tonite. So please say yes to getting married now...Gopi jumped up and said I am going to wear the new saree I got today. Ahem said that was the general idea. Gopi looked at him with a huge smile and said you really did plan everything...didn't you? Ahem also said those kangans are supposed to be from my dad as a gift for his DIL and that mangalsutra is from me as a promise to start our new life together...Lets get ready darling. Gopi asked about what he was going to wear and he said I already took care of that jaan so don't worry your pretty little head...Just worry about what I am planning for us tonite. Gopi blushed a dark shade of pink and ran from the room to change into her wedding saree...
