Amongst the hurricane of words from Koki, the expectant guest and the plotting of Rashi within the Modi household were two Gohem scenes, where Ahem was able to keep his pent up feelings to himself.
He is an admirable character who can see where the problem is and can separate and treat individuals accordingly. For him he believes through his mum's reasoning that he has erred his mum by not honouring his meeting with his client and he pays the price of it.
His pent up feelings are at bursting point but he was good at keeping it to himself in those two scenes when he was in Gopi's presence.
His upward look at Gopi when she held in her hand the home made remedy was telling how angry he was with his mum but appreciated his wife's efforts for lovingly caring for him. His voice was soft and gentle when he told her to leave him alone. He walked away from her knowing that she would stand there looking on at him stunned as he was not willing to tell her anything yet. He has realised that his wife will be by his side through thick and thin and support him, at the same time he has to ease her mind too. The occasion arose with his mum intervening when Gopi told that she will do the ironing. He told her calmly and gently in Gopi-style what has happened through her enquiring him.
He does know that he is pushing her away even though his talk was soft and gentle. He is walking on a tight rope with his mum but knews fully well that he had to keep the peace with his wife. How long will his pent up feelings last?
