meethi opens the MM main door..."Meethi ..did Ahem come back from office" gopi asks very slowly to meethi who says "ji bhai hasn't come yet" '"ok then i will place these flowers in his room and come" said gopi walking towards the stairs...

"Jai shree krishna mota bhabhi...jai shree krishna kokila, how are you and what are you doing " asked Gayathri entering into the kitchen '"Jai shree krishna gayathri..." said koki and hetal "woh today it was Ahem's first day at office '.he came early as he finished off his meetings for the day..so i am preparing some snacks for him" said kokila while frying some pakoras..." where is gopi dikra...we rarely her these days...did she come or not " asked kokila still frying the pakoras and making green tea for Ahem.."she came kokila...may be she went to meet kinjal in her room" said gayathri while helping kokila in preparing snacks...

After few minutes...Gopi came running down the stairs still heavily breathing "arrey arrey gopi dikra '.relax ...relax...why are you panting so hard...and what is kinjal doing ..where is she ...she did not come along with you" asked koki setting the table with the pakoras and tea...and some other snacks...then gopi began to realize that her mom and koki aunty assumed her to be in kinjal's room

"Aunty... kinjal said she will be here in 5 mins.." said gopi still panting... all of a sudden, 2 arms go over gopi's shoulder from behind '"gopiii when did you come... why didn't you come to meet me in my room " said kinjal pouting...gopi's brown eyes became big with a shocked expression...she rolled her eyes towards her left side where her maa and koki aunty were standing and arranging the table...just behind her left shoulder... ...kinjal could not understand as to what gopi was trying to indicate and say...and she further continued "but gopi...ouch" kinjal shrieked in pain when gopi stamped on her feet and rolled over her eyes towards her maa and koki aunty..."kinjal what are you saying...i knocked on your door...you did not open" kinjal who by now got the hint started playing along with gopi.."ohh now i remember .. the knock.. i was in the restroom at that time..sorry gopi" said kinjal with a pleading expression... kokila, gayathri..are still looking confused with the events going on between gopi and kinjal..."maa...aunty .. when kinjal did not open her door i went to meet baa '." said gopi with a poker face and munching on a pakora which she took from the bowl on the table...

"ok dikra ...it's alright sit down and have some snacks" said kokila aunty... just then Ahem comes down...in his tracks and t-shirt after a nice shower...feeling all good after the first day at work...he came and stood next to gopi near the dining table chair and was about to utter hi "hai Ahem... how are you ..you look soo different... you changed a lot in these 5 years when did you come from office...meethi said you were not here '...actually last week i had extra classes so I couldn't come ..." said gopi very rapidly all in one breath... while rolling her eyes...towards maa and koki aunty... "what non-sense just now... ouch " Ahem yelped...looking at his feet where she stamped..."why are you stamping my feet and what were u blabbering like parrot" asked Ahem winking at her and slightly hit her on her head with his left palm..."look aunty again he started calling me parrot" said gopi hugging koki aunty to her side'.. "look aunty again he started calling me parrot" said Ahem in the same tone as gopi while hugging Gayathri aunty to his side.. gopi completely mad and pissed off walked away in a hush "it was better off when you were in America why did you come back" said gopi walking away briskly, nuzzling her nose with her left hand fingers ... once again stamping his feet on the way "ouch what are you feeding her aunty.." said Ahem still holding on to gayathri towards his side and smiling and looking at gopi walking away with kinjal...

A little later Aadarsh comes to Modi Bhavan after work..."pappa pappa " gopi runs hugs her pappa "my pyari pari beta, how are you beta...and how was the college" asked his pappa while making himself comfortable on the couch...before gopi could answer her pappa..."hi uncle" "hi Ahem beta ' how are you and how was your first day at office" asked Aadarsh "ji uncle ' everything is fine at work ...just looking at some new proposals.." said Ahem placing himself on the couch right angle to Aadarsh uncle...

"pappa i will get you some water ' pappa do you want tea or coffee ...pappa aunty also made some snacks ...i will get them for u ' i will be right back pappa" Ahem just exploded into a huge laughter ...causing Gopi to stop in her tracks... "whats so funny and may i know why are you laughing like a riot" asked gopi with both her hands on either side of her waist '. "nothing parrot...i was...ouch " he was hardly hit this time on his face with the accent pillow on the couch...and she walked away in a huff leaving behind Ahem still nuzzling his nose with his left palm... and Aadarsh watching them with a smile while checking his emails on his blackberry...

gopi brought the tea and snacks with meethi's help into the living room where Ahem and her pappa were joined by jigar, Parag uncle, chirag uncle and baa,...just then koki, hetal and gayathri also joined them..."gopi dikra ..when did u come... i hardly see u these days" said baa who is seated on the couch next to parag '.koki and gayathri were shocked and confused and gopi's eyes became big " cough cough cough...i will be right back " said gopi running towards the kitchen..followed by Kinjal .

"Gopi whats happening to you... you are behaving so weird since you came in ..what were you trying to say earlier at the dining table with all those stamping on the feet.." "nothing... nothing kinjal" "please tell na gopi what were you trying to say and wait a minute you did not come to meet me, did not go to baa's room, where were you " said kinjal with lot of questions and confusion in her eyes...

just when gopi was about to protest answering kinjal's questions... they hear "what are you guys doing here..." said Ahem sitting on the counter top..."why did you come here bhai ' we were just having some girl talk " "what kinjal...are you mad... how can you have a girl talk with her" looking sideways towards gopi, who is standing towards his left near the counter top...glared at him with confusion in her eyes..."why bhai.. what's wrong in talking with gopi"... he got down..stood close to gopi "how can a parrot talk anything other than pappa pappa..pappa" he said with a wink and a smile on his lips, kinjal started laughing loudly and gopi is super mad at him for calling her parrot and was about to reply when Ahem bend very close to her ear and says "did i say something wrong '...paaa...rrrot " and slightly hit on her forehead with his left fingers and started running out... gopi whose anger is flaring up, ran behind him... he is still running ...jumping over the couches circling his mom and aunt...she is following him around the couches circling her mom and aunt who are standing near the couches ' "Ahem wait " still panting and running behind him... he made his way up the stairs holding the railing and climbing 4 to 5 stairs at a time...gopi using all her energy is climbing 2 stairs at a time panting harder... but Ahem is fast and instead of going to his room... he continued further on the stairs towards the terrace... and gopi is using all her energy to run up the stairs more rapidly... he is on the terrace and hides beside the terrace door...

gopi still panting makes her way out of the terrace door .."aaahhh" two strong arms hold her waist preventing her from falling flat on her face "aahhh aaahhh maaa...pappa" now crying in pain with tears in her eyes... ' unable to stand on her feet ' "now why are you crying ...what is this pappa pappa..pappa even while crying." said Ahem still trying to make her stand up on her feet...she stood on her right leg clinging on to his shirt...and still crying in pain "ahhh my ankle ...it's paining severely..unable to put my foot down...ahhh arrghh ...please i can't stand on my feet call pappa... please Ahem" said gopi with pain and tears...

Ahem now came to realize that she is hurt and is in pain... she still stood there on her right foot clinging on to his tee shirt and crying in pain...he looked here and there and lifted her in his arms... she now put her left arm around his neck..and is still clinging on to his shirt with her right hand...and is close to his chest... still whining in acute pain of the muscle...while on the stairs down, gopi is staring at his brown eyes and his facial expressions in awe forgetting her pain for a few moments...while he was concentrating and looking down on the stairs to take her carefully to the living room...

he is now almost near the bottom few steps..with her still in his arms..that is when gopi shrieked in pain causing all the family members to turn their heads towards the stairs and stood in shock and her maa briskly walked towards the stairs followed by koki aunty... followed by her pappa and everyone... at the bottom of the stairs... "jigar call 911 immediately '" "bhai 911" "oh sorry call the doctor immediately " saying so he came near the couch... gopi still clinging on to his shirt and closing her eyes tightly due to the acute pain...

he slowly bend down to the sofa height and placed her slowly on the couch and her pappa bend down and adjusted gopi's feet along the length of the couch...she cried in pain when her pappa touched her ankle at the spot of injury...and her mom began to place a few cushions for her back support ,,,she is still yelping in pain... "what happend dikra ..how did u get the sprain" asked koki all worried "Mom woh..woh...I" said Ahem..."aunty .." gopi stopped Ahem "did Ahem hurt you beta... did he make you fall" asked koki worriedly glaring at Ahem..."no aunty ...Ahem did not hurt me...i was running on the terrace behind him...when i just missed my step and my ankle got twisted in the process" said gopi who just blinked her eyes at him...he mouthed a small thank you to her but was all guilty thinking about what happened in the terrace

he went up the stairs to the terrace and hid himself behind the terrace door ' and when he heard gopi coming he just extended his long leg in her way when she shrieked..."aaahhh" he held on to her waist preventing her from falling flat on her face and gopi was about to fall her legs lost balance and there is a sprain in her left ankle... Ahem just lifted her up and tried to help her stand up //fb

gopi is whining...when the doctor is trying to move her ankle sidewards and asking her if it was paining with each movement...after examining for a while..."it's just a small sprain...she needs to rest for at least a week., please give her a foot massage and apply warm and cold packs to her feet at regular intervals... meanwhile use these pain killers they will be of much relief... and i will come and see you in 3 days" said Dr.Joshi with a stethoscope around his neck, getting up from the chair which was placed near the couch on which gopi was lying..Dr.Joshi is a family doctor for both Modis and Mehtas for the last 5 years...Jigar went to drop off Dr.Joshi to his car parked in the parkway.

"Is it paining beta" asked her maa gently caressing her feet.. with her fingers "ouch maa...don't touch there ,,, it's hurting maa" said gopi whining, by holding her pappa's shirt who was still sitting next to her "don't worry beta... my beta is strong" "but pappa it's paining a lot" said gopi still holding her pappa's shirt..Ahem who is witnessing all this is feeling guilty of the hurt which he caused un-intentionally..

Kokila has sent a hot pack from the kitchen through meethi... gopi's maa took the heat pack and secured it around gopi's left ankle...gopi just made a "aaahhh" and became quite with a little bit of relief..."gayathri ' why don't you take a cup of rock salt and put in pan warm it for some time on the stove... place the warm rock salt in a cloth and tie to her ankle ' the pain will go ussshhh" said baa smiling and lifting her right arm to indicate a flight movement..'. baa gave her age old tricks which gayathri and all others appreciated..."ji baa, after going home ..i will try this " said gayathri sitting next to gopi and gently caressing her ankle

After sometime ...everyone went in to the dining area for dinner... gayathri got some dinner for gopi...to the living room...she was about to feed gopi "maa leave it na i will eat my self" said gopi with a pleasing look.."gopi beta... you are not doing well...and if i give it to you ...you won't even finish it and on top of that you have to take these pain killers...let me feed you beta" said gayathri whose tone became stern by the end of the statement..."but maa" "Gopiii " gopi opened her mouth her maa fed her ...Ahem who now have finished his dinner came back to the the living area and is looking at her with guilt in his eyes ' she just gave him a reassuring smile that she is fine and he returned a faint smile...

the mehtas started to go to their home... gopi was now brought to the car by placing her one arm on her pappa and other on Ahem and she carefully walked to the car and was seated comfortably... once in the apartment complex... she was carefully supported to walk with the help of her pappa on one side and the security guard on the other...

Gopi's bedroom is in the upper level of their duplex apartment, her parents made gopi sleep in their bed on the down floor... with her maa's help she changed and got herself tucked in the bed and said good night to her maa...after saying good night to gopi, gayathri made her way upstairs to join her pappa in the guest room.

Gopi is lying on the bed when a small smile curled her lips which also resulted in a blush on her cheeks... the same blush she had in Ahem's room...when they met for the first time.

Earlier in the evening...Gopi is arranging the roses in the vase...humming the song "bepana pyar hain aaja...tera intezaar hai aaja" '. .she is soo lost in arranging the flowers and humming the song that she could not hear the squeak of the restroom door opening.. ...she is still lost in humming.. Ahem comes out in his towel, bare chest and drying his hair with another towel...Gopi is still bending with her hair over her shoulders on to her front side... Ahem shaking his head while drying his hair... caused the water to drizzle on Gopi's bare back...causing her to shriek and she turned around still bending ...to see him in a towel and bare chest.. froze to her spot with mouth open and not stuttering her eyelids..."hellooo!!!" he waved his hand before her face..., gopi embarrassed, came out of the trance and while trying to stand up straight ...stumbled on her feet and was about to fall...when a strong arm held her waist and he too bend over her (as in the end of a dance) their eyes met...stared at each as if lost in each other's eyes...for few more seconds...

Ahem was the first one to come out of the eye lock and said ..."wow '.you turned out to be so beautiful...is that really you parrot" said Ahem winking at her...gopi totally blushed and embarrassed at the comments realized that he called her parrot... tried with all her energy to stand up ...but he was still holding on to her..."you were supposed to be at work...what are you doing here at this time and how dare you call me parrot..." struggling to get back on her feet and said "leave me,..." '..."this is my room and i will stay here anytime" "leave meee"...he is still holding her waist ..."i said leave me Ahemmm" this time she screamed '..with that Ahem immediately pulled his hand off her waist and the next moment Gopi was dropped to the floor with a thud sound...he smirked and smiled at her...her anger is venting up after the fall...she stood up on her feet holding on to her hip .."what was that Ahem...why did you leave me like that..." and started to hit him on his bear chest with both her hands her bangles making the clink-ling sound when she is hitting him..."you said leave" "so is that the way to leave ..and you called me parrot...you know i hate it..." still hitting him hard..."ouch gopi that hurts what do you eat moti..." she is still hitting him..'. this time...he held her wrists and held both her arms behind her making her to arch and come further closer to him ...so close that they could feel the warm breath of each other on their faces..her heart beat increasing '. she is breathing heavily...their lips were an inch apart...both staring and staring... still breathing heavily..no words spoken in that situation... .she was the first to come out of the stare and said softly "Ahem" and looked down ...he immediately left her arms.. she adjusted her dupatta and her hair and ran out of the room..."Arrey gopi wait '. listen 'i am sor..." Ahem was still confused and thinking about what just happened...and smiled and shrugged it off and changed into his tracks and tee shirt and went down stairs...

Next Morning

Jigar ran almost 3 miles in the park, before sitting on a bench when he saw a couple with a white Pomeranian puppy holding the puppy and petting it...and jigar closes his eyes to remember the first encounter with her

Jigar is running as in jogging in a public park, a white Pomeranian puppy, got out of a girl's arms and started running behind jigar... jigar is unaware until the puppy let out a small bark 3 feet behind him... he stopped in his tracks and turned around to see a little puppy wagging her tail and letting the tongue out...jigar with his hands tried to shove the puppy away as he is scared of it because a puppy once scratched his leg when he was running to get a cricket ball from near the fence...which Ahem bhai hit for 4 runs... at that time he was in class 4.

Now he is still trying to shove the dog away by stomping his feet on the ground and showing his hand to the puppy indicating to go "Hello Mr." said a beautiful girl, with big black eyes, wearing a track pant and a white nike shirt with a long silky pony tail...Jigar just stared at her with mouth open... the puppy stared at him with mouth open wagging her tongue '"hello Mr" said the girl "what are you staring at"? "puppy" said jigar very slowly ' now realized what he was staring at cleared his throat and said "is this your puppy" "yes"said the girl leashing the puppy and taking it in her arms... "take it away" "wait a second who are you and why were you shoving away my puppy... are you scared of dogs " asked the girl with little smile on her face

"No no i am not scared of dogs" "ok then pet it " "No... i won't " "then you are scared" "no i am not" said jigar trying to avoid the embarrassing situation..."ok leave what's your height" asked the girl with a beautiful smile "5' 10" " said jigar still confused at the question "this puppy is less than 1 feet height and u being almost 6 feet are scared of such a tiny and cute puppy " said the girl pouting and with a little anger on her face..."ok i want to confess.. i am scared of puppies and there is a reason to it" and started telling his puppy story of class 4...hearing that the girl let out a beautiful and brilliant smile ' jigar is just lost seeing her beautiful face and smile..."ok now pet it ,,, he is snoopy... very well behaved... won't bite you " said the girl holding puppy before jigar...jigar extended his trembling hands to pet the puppy...he finally managed to pet it with a million dollar smile on his face "see i told you na... snoopy is very well behaved" said the girl feeling proud of snoopy,,"thank you snoopy and thank you too and i am Jigar Jigar Modi" said jigar extending his hand to her.."you are welcome" said the girl extending and shaking her hands with him "your name" jigar asked "why do you need my my name... if i tell my name now ' you will follow me till my home and get to know my dad's surname and then you will search for my details on face book and will start following me and stalking me " said the girl with pride in her eyes for giving the best reason ever" "and you have so much non-sense stuff in your head" he mumbled to himself..."i am not a stalker " said jigar trying to defend himself "what's the proof." "proof what proof do you need to prove that i am not a stalker".."ok ok.. i will tell my name ..not now but next time we meet" said the girl turning around with snoopy in her hands "but next time... when... where.. how " said jigar extending his hand and ran his fingers through his hair "next time bye for now" said the girl waving her hand and walked away...jigar let out a sigh "next time" and smiled to himself

Jigar who was living in the past moments came back and still watching the couple playing with a puppy took a deep breath stood up.. saw on either direction and continued with his jogging...
