OS : A Movie

Ahem Modi is back. Its not a hot news as he is not a famous celebrity or nor has he created any scandal but his return has caused many eyebrows to frown. Why ? He is the youngest member of Modi industries and he has been away for his education. Now his course is almost over. Now he is going to take up the charge of Modi Industries. But is he coming back for that ? No.He is coming back for a two week vacation just for the sake of his mom kokila modi who has been pestering him all the way to get married through phone using ISD calls. So to make up for her anger and to save the ISD charge he is coming back..

Morning -A black volkswagen can be seen on the highway. Ahem modi is talking over Bluetooth to his friend jigar.

Aham : Hey jigar, now what ? I have reached highway.how much further ?

Jigar : yes yes aham..now you go straight. No turns .just straight..call when you reach the point where you can see a yellow board which reads Mumbai

Aham : okey (he switch off the bluetooth)

Why mom ? Why you call me in this place? You know I don't like this marriage business. Besides how can you expect me to do arrange marriage..Oh God, what's she playing at?

Suddenly there was a noise and his car came to a standstill.

Aham looked in disbelief: what was that ?

He opened the bonnet and checked it. Oh shit..Now this is what I need right now..Gosh, what do I do now?

"Salaam saabh"

Aham wheeled around hearing the noise. It was a girl voice.

He looked at the speaker. He had never seen this much pathetic figure in his life. The speaker is a girl who is wearing shabby looking woolen coat which was worn out and teared at here and there. Wait There's another dress on underneath that woolen coat- a pink or white salwaar kameez..Yes, She has a face too..But he had never seen a ragged face like this. Her face was muddy , browny colour due to long exposure to sun and she wore a smile (looks like that) ..She was eating something, means chewing something.

"Salaam saabh" The girl again spoke this time loud

Aham looked at her and frowned 'Nothing nothing go'no paise..

Gopi ' please sir..please buy some peanuts. God will keep you and your family happy

Aham(thinking ) - peanuts ! ! There are no peanuts with her..Oh gosh..There's a small vehicle and she is been pushing that thing .Its not a vehicle actually. It contains a table or wooden board in which so many things have been crammed and an oil lamp is hanging in mid air.The vehicle is covered with some blue tarpaulin sheet. But he can't see any peanuts..

Aham- Peanuts..Duh!! (he thought .Look at her state.Ugly brat..)

I don't want any thing..You just go..

Gopi 'What happened saabh? You are so angry.What happened saabh? Can I help you?

Aham (smiling a sarcastic laugh) ' You will help me..Right..my car is breakdown..Can you make it right ?

Gopi ' looked at the giant vehicle infront of her. Saabh, I've seen this in roads but I don't know nothing about this.

Aham- Stop bickering..Are there any mechanic near this place or any workshop ?

Gopi- No saabh, I passes through here daily at this time. You see, saabh that road (ther's a small cut road) Along that I will get to my destination. Are you new here?

Aham(thinking , she is making me mad) ' yes am new..now you please go..

He again on the Bluetooth and said ' jigar jigar

Gopi- am gopi saabh

Aham ' shut up and please go

Jigar- wat's that aham? Why are you shouting?

Aham- Nothing yaar..(turning round)- Dude,my vehicle has breakdown..What to do now..

Jigar- oh gosh..where are you man..i will come right away

Aham- am in ..some highway some ..trees are there ..And ..

Gopi- near to Mumbai central , exactly at the centre of the road

Aham- SHUT UP

Jigar- What ?

Aham- Nothin..yaar..near to Mumbai central , exactly at the centre of the road

Jigar ; okey..i will come..Wait there..

Aham- switch off the Bluetooth (wheeling around to face the stranger) I told you to go

Gopi- But saabh..you were new here..And your friends need to know that you are here..right.or else you will be stuck here.

Aham- okey..now you can leave..right..am okey..Go

Gopi- What's this saabh? I helped you..now its your turn to help me.

Aham- What ?

Gopi ' yes saabh..please buy some peanuts..you will feel elated..

Aham- (Not hearing a word she says and thinking I know this girl is trying to seduce me..may be she is a')

Oh gosh..i can't do that..but I will give you the money..please leave me alone and go away..find some other..How much ?

Gopi- 10 rs..saabh

Aham-WHAT ? You are doing this for just 10rs..

Gopi-yes saabh..i don't have any other earning

Aham-oh girl..you are awful..How can you ? Let it be..Here I have only 1000 rs note with me..Take this and leave..

Gopi- oh God, 1000rs note..i have never seen in my life other than 10 or 5rs note..sometimes 20rs too

Aham(thinking) ' Poor creature..What an awful life she is living..

Gopi- But sir why would you give me 1000rs without having anything..Please sir..I insist you must have this'For my pleasure..

Aham(pleading ) No No am sorry..Don't come near me..i don't..i can't'

Then she grabbed his hand and shivers ran down through him'he thought about all the awful diseases...

She placed something in his palms..He shouted Nooo

And then he sensed some package in his hands..

It was a packet full of peanuts..

Aham- So you were actually selling peanuts'I thought..you are a'(he hold his breath..and suddenly let out a shriek')

Gopi ( panicked) ' What happened saabh ?

Aham was laughing so hard that he thought his lungs may come out..He had never laughed so hard in his life' he seated in his car itself and said- oh good..I don't have any other money..please take it and leave..

Gopi (standing on the road ) - yes saabh I will leave when your friends arrives..and as for this paise, I don't need 1000rs..just 10 rs is enough for me..

Aham- What ? You are going to stay with me..now..No..You go..am fine..

Gopi- No saabh..you are new and you are alone..Any thing can happen..And anyways..i..want to know whether it can happen

Aham- Sorry..what can happen?

Gopi 'Saabh I see films..saabh..Hindi movies..A girl gets stranded on road and she meets a guy and rain comes..Then duet song..Then'romance..

Aham- what? You believe all this nonsense..come on girl..That all can happen only in movies..Not in real life..So do not give yourself false hopes..Look at the day..Rain will not come..

Gopi- But saabh..

And then one waterdrop came and hit her on the outer surface of her hand.She looked up and shouted RAIN And ran away to her shelter (her vehicle).

Aham couldn't believe his ears and eyes..Am I dreaming ? How come rain at this time?

Gopi- saabh (she shouted)

Aham (inside the vehicle) ' yes (shouted back)

Gopi-Duet song

Aham(thinking she's mad and gonna make him mad too) ' you go on..i will join

Gopi- Where are you?

Aham- am here..you start..

Gopi- okey and she adjusted her throat as if she is sonunigam's sister or ashajee's cousin and then..she shouted..saabh- I can't sing saabh

Aham (I know that)- Why ?

Gopi- saabh, in hindi films, ladies wear something which reveal everything in rain while getting drenched..i am wearing coat sir

Aham(a look of glee in his eyes)- good..He came out of the car and rushed to her.

And said- come on ..you have to sing..i will join you..

Gopi- but saabh my dress is not revealing one..How will you get any feeling?

Aham-There's a way. You remove this coat..i will help you

Gopi- keeping coat over herself ' No saabh am not gonna do that..No saabh

Aham- yes..(clearly seeing how much she has frightened )- go on..remove it..we will have a duet..now itself..And he began pulling at the coat

Gopi (frightened almost a shocked look) ' No saabh..please..saabh..Rain has gone..saabh..look rain has gone.. (she pushed him away)

Aham ( trying hard to make up a straight face) ' oh no'(groaning)

Gopi- saabh..i have to go..

Aham- No yaar..wait..am alone and am new..give me company..

Gopi- No saabh..you are unusual..i have to go..

Aham (smiling at her gestures) ' come on gopi please..wait..till my friends arrives

Gopi (looking here and there) ' okey saabh..i will wait..but you just sit there..(pointing to the car)

Don't come near me.. I mean don't come here..

Aham(smiling devilishly) ' Yes ..i will not come near you'

Aham (hummin inside the car )

Gopi is looking like she wants to kick him so hard..but yes..she is terrified..

Aham thought to make her feel more frightened...What was she thinking bumping in to some stranger like that ? And he again got down from his car and went near to her

Gopi was bickering to herself..Aham 's movement made her jump.

Gopi- what is it saabh? (her eyebrows were contracted and eyes were fixed on aham's moving eyes.)

Aham-Nothing..I was just thinking whether you will teach me how to make this peanuts..you know they are so yummy..

Gopi- (frowning) ' no saabh..why you take so much trouble ?

Aham (grabbing her hand) ' please gopi.don't say no..

Gopi- (shaking violently)- yes..yes..i will (take her hands off his)- first of all you will take this pot and ..

Aham take the pot so that her hand is clasped right inside his. She tried hard to push but aham was too naughty to give away so easily

He asked - then (innocently)

Gopi - (trying to free her hand) ' saabh I have to put peanuts in the pot..

Aham - I will take them..and he began looking for peanuts here and there making sure that he is brushing her body..

Gopi ' What are you doing ? Get off..Out of my way..I will do it..Also what's this awful smell ?

Aham - oh this? Perfume..branded..

Gopi- (wrinkling her nose) ' please saabh..getoff..

Aham- but I need to learn this '

Gopi - Saabh..you (heaved a deep relief) - saabh your friends are here..go saabh..nice meeting you..

A car came in to a halt in front of them.

Aham released her hand at once.

Jigar opened the car and beckoned aham to come..

Aham-(rushing forward) - oh jigar.. at last you are here'come, I will introduce you to some one..she is..

But he saw that she has already gone through that shortcut road'oh gosh..she is gone..i didn't ask her name..

Jigar- looking at the road- come on aham we are already late..your mom will kill me..come on..

Aham- but she..

Jigar- who she ? There is no one..come on'

Koki- what happened to my beta? Why is he sulking ? he smiles at himself without reason..what is it? Has he gone out of his mind?

Jigar- aunty I will talk

Jigar (sitting next to aham)- what is it aham? Confide in me..i will sort it out..

Aham-(looking at jigar and thinking)

Jigar- is this about the girl you met ..

Aham- Exactly jigar..she is making me crazy..i know I have never thought that I will think about a girl and she is nowhere near to a girl but she is ..i want t o meet her again..

Jigar- what ? Are you insane? You told me that she is a peanut seller. Drop the idea, man. Your mom will kill us.

Aham ' Please jigar, I don't have any other option. I want to just meet her. Is that a crime?

Jigar ' What's her name ?

Aham- I don't know

Jigar- address ?

Aham- don't know

Jigar- is she married ?

Aham- don't know

Jigar- is she the other type ?

Aham- No..

Jigar- how do you know?

Aham- I know yaar..what's this?

Jigar ' Then how do we find her? Just drop it.

Aham- I can't. I don't know why.

Aham- I know one thing..she always comes in that road..

Jigar- yeah..will go there..

Aham- okey..

Next morning they set out to the road..but she wasn't there'

Same routine followed till 2 weeks are over..

Jigar- I don't think she will again come here..Drop it..

Aham is going today to London to get his certificate ..After return, koki wants him to tie the knot with an NRI's daughter.

Feeling downhill, he went on to railway station..There he will first board a train and then from there to airport..

Throughout the journey aham's head was out of the window pane looking for that stranger girl..but no..she is not seen in any pavements..

Feeling rejected he arrived at the railwaystation and boarded the train..Last goodbyes were given'

Signals were given. Aham's eyes gazed upon the entrance . Suddenly Raindrops falling faster and thicker in to his clothes and hands. The person next to him asked him to close the window pane. He closed it and the train goes on'

At the same moment outside the platform some girl is seen selling the peanuts. Koki , jigar and aham's other friends get in their cars and she came running towards them - Saabh peanuts saabh...

Jigar - Go away..No ..Go..

And the car is gone in a puff of wind..

I know, this is like a sad ending but please read and give out suggestions..

hey this is a quirky story, i like it...i'm wondering which girl his mother is arranging for him to marry if Gopi is the way you described her...will wait for the update to find out.

Omg, I never expected Gopi to be a peanut seller on street. I don't like to imagine Gopi in this pathetic figure, I like her as a princess. Waiting for the next update to find out who is the bride his mom is arranging for him.

Thank you all for the replies...yes the story line is different and many of you may never wanna see gopi as a street peanut seller..but this is a story right? Also its like hindi movies..so all is fair..
