That span of time when he came downstairs to realising that Jigar was missing to the short and gentle dialogue between them to him taking her along to the mandir and finding Jigar just sitting there, emotionally shown how thirsty Ahem was for Gopi's strength.

He was so prompt in listening to her and ultra gentle in his tone and voice. He felt as though a part of him was instantly missing and was rapidly weakening physically, mentally and emotionally. Her voice was his saviour and she became his pillar of strength in his moment of need. So much so that he had to take her along and have her next to him at every stage of the way, from sitting alongside him in the car to walking alongside him up the stairs to walking up to Jigar and standing alongside him as his vented his grief to his brother.

He needed her more than ever.

Will he thank her for this? Will he lend his ear to her and become an insider?

Hey Swasthi...was just waiting for your understanding...Yeah Ahem & gopi talk to each other eye to eye...he not only listens to her...but also goes to check along with her for Jigar...if you have noticed...after getting down the car...he actually waited for her...then before shouting on Jigar he actually looked at Gopi...this kind of understanding is usually between couples who love & know each other...One thing is that all thru out he had been calm with Gopi & did not even question her...Gopi did not become a punch bag for him...Another thing is Ahem as a character...does not know how to express love...his shouting on Jigar is also a proof that he cares for his brother...

yaar , ahem interrupted her the previous day when she was going to say about jigar and rashie and told her there was noo need to discuss. so today he must have thought that he should pay heed to what gopi says since she is good in sensing and understanding the sorrows of others than him. He must have felt she understands jigar better than him even after he and jigar grew up together.

nice to see ahem talking to gopi calmly even at that tension hour when nobody knew where jigar was. And ahem must have been totally surprised to see jigar in the temple as gopi said which was shown through the scene where gopi and ahem looked at each other after spotting jigar . I really believe that from now onwards ahem will surely listen to gopi whenever something is troubling her deeply

Excellent analysis Swasthi.

Once again he sought her out in time of need, he took her with him for support. As for Gopi, without hesitation, she told him where Jigar could be, that moment was just between them, and no one else.

I hope he questions her on how she knew where Jigar would be, when they are alone.

Maybe it is my imagination - but he had come back from office and was upstairs in his room. the scene shows him coming from up but he had not changed - he was still in his suit and not shewani - was it because he went upstairs, could not find his Gopiji and so came rushing down to see her??????????????

I know, there was a slight discrepancy here. Usually the first thing Ahem does is get changed (usually after his green tea lol). Maybe that's it - Gopi didn't bring him his tea so he came down looking for it and her.

And did anyone eat dinner at any point?

maybe he wanted gopi to select his sherwani 😆
