The modelling is not even that bad. If she had a little respect for other people then I firmly believe that there wouldn't be such an issue about the fact that she chose to model.

Imagine that she had talked it over with Dhaval - I'm not even going to say she should have asked permission - Dhaval probably would have agreed to her modelling. He doesn't seem to me to be the type of guy who would deny his wife anything. And if Dhaval didn't mind then Urmila wouldn't be able to say anything. Kokila and Ahem also wouldn't be able to say anything - If Kinjal's husband didn't mind then they are in no position to interfere.

Kinjal was only thinking about herself and that is where the problem has started. Even with this catwalk thing today. She could have spoken nicely to her mum and brother but she chose to be confrontational.

She needs to learn respect and I really want her to start respecting Dhaval. After all she has done the man is still standing by her.

Showing respect and talking I agree with also, but asking permission I don't agree with, even if you read Nazma's post she clearly said not asking permission...and I know why, remember the banyan modelling, did Dhawal ask to put her picture on there? Why not it's her picture, he didn't show her any respect that she has the right to say yes or no.

One more thing, you know the reason she is finding it hard to adjust to this different lifestyle is because Dhawal wasn't her choice, if it was a love marriage, say she went against her parents and married for love a poor husband, they would stay together and she would have to adjust because she will feel I chose this myself, if I fail my parents will say we told you you didn't listen, so you keep struggling, now her she ran away on the wedding day Aham found her boarding a bus at the bus station, he dragged her back forced her back into the wedding dress, she was forced to marry Dhawal and he knew she didn't want to marry him so that is the reason why she carries on her old way of life and will not swallow her pride and make it work.

So why does she have to ask permission from him to do a tv advert, it's her face not his. He was proud of his pretty and fair wife that's why he wanted everyone to know, that's why he put her on the banyan packaging, now she has done the advert similarly she is covered up also. I think Dhawal and Urmila shouldn't have reported her to her pihar.

Back to the talking, yes she should have shown respect, though he didn't do to her with the banyan packaging and said look Dhawal a modelling agent has approached me blah blah offered to pay Rps.10K to do this advert, but because she hasn't accepted him as her husband, how can she talk to him like a husband? impossible situation.

Okay things have gone wrong, Aham slapped and she told them you've got me married now, you have no rights to control me, she should think, look my family is my family, they bailed me out recently with the credit card problem, never know I will need them in the future, look Mum Dad, I'm doing a modelling assignment on such and such, but because her mother was so against it and didn't want to understand at all her situation (the hardship she is facing) she's just doing what she likes and everyone else can go to hell.

And as for talking to Dhaval prior to the modelling thing I thought she was managing to speak to him ok. Didn't they talk about getting their own place at one point and she also tried to organise a job with her kakaji for him. So I think she could have managed to talk to him if she'd wanted to but she obviusly didn't want to.

Personally what Kinjal is doing isn't as bad as what Rashi has done. At least Kinjal is being up front about her wishes even if they are for all the wrong reasons.

Kinjal isnt fully wrong as your posts had let me change my mind a bit but I just dont like kinjals attitude espically toward Gopi but Kokila is wrong in her place too
