They stood there for a while staring at each other not knowing how to break the pin drop silence echoing in the house until " how dare you people play with our emotions, huh tell me Kajal... did you not find it necessary to tell me... what has my family done to you all that you all played such evil acts on us. Tell me!" Jigar was not shouting not understanding how his heart could be so wrong and fall for another deceiving woman, why it always happen to him.
" Ji.. gar..ji it's not how you think" " stop lying to me Kajal please stop lying, I had you talking to you bhabi about my Gopi bhabi, so tell me my ears are defective."
"Jigarji please..." " please what Kajal huh what, to think that I have been fooled twice and to think that I love... Haaa Kajal I fell in love with you the first time I saw you but now... now...am thinking all the fault is mine... you used my love to your benefit so that you and your family can proceed with..." " That's right Jigarji and that's because bhai said when she was born like that and did have an operation to correct it and that day what exactly caused it even we do not know but the operation got complicated because...cause..." " cause what Kajal, listen you must tell me every thing, you owe...he could not finished as the next words of Kajal threw him off guard. " She was pregnant Jijarji with Ahemji's child and and the doctor's said for the operation to be successful they will have to abort her child."
Now the emotions of those days was too much for her to speak, tears chocked her but she knew she has to do this for her Jigarji...ohhh noo when did he become my Jijarji..." Kajal! Kajal! you mean bhai and bhabi were going to be parents and I would have being an uncle and kakiji kakaji, maa and papa grand parent and Baa would have seen her great grand child and/and you know what Kajal that child would ave filled the void in our family knowing that Ahem bhai's flesh and blood was with us..." Kajal could now see a twinkle of rays in his eyes with those thoughts and now fears what's to happen if she tell him that bhabi woke up that instant when bhai was telling the doctors' to abort the child.

"What am I doing here and where is Ahemji, Saraben please tell me what's going on and what abortion are you talking about? "Gopi listen you fainted in your brother's house and we brought you here as you would not open your eyes and now..." Sara was unable to continue " Now the doctors found the hole in your heart has opened up" Sanjay added but realised Gopi did not recall her heart condition and was looking confused and then she said " did I have an operation on my heart before? I used to wonder how I had a scar there even Ahemji did asked me but I could not give him any answer." " Gopi you were born with it and mum,dad did not want you to have an operation that young but when your breathing was affected as you were growing they has to get it done and now your we do not know how the hole opened but the doctor's have to operate and correct it." Sanjay explained to her but she was looking lost and asked " Where is Ahemji and what did he say...please Sanjay bhai I need to speak with him and tell him..." "that you are pregnant, so you knew but listen Gopi this pregnancy will complicate your operation and therefore the dorctor's advice is to have it removed." " Never Sanjay bhai, never and if you approve for it to be removed I will never forgive you and will cut you off my life for ever... arrey they is a signature of my love for Ahemji and you want to get rid of it...please call Ahemji...Saraben don't do this to me please you know me better than bhai I cannot remove this baby I..ca..no.."
"Gopi! Gopi!" doctor what happened please do something "listen Mr Singhania your sister is heavily sedated and that's why she slept but we have to operate her heart and that cannot be done with her condition so you decide and I will be back in few minutes with my team to start work" and left.
" Sanjay let try and call the Modi family and may be they will locate Ahem as only he can take the final decision in this matter, for Gopi's sake you have to .." " how many times have we been trying to call him Sara and each time his cell is off and Jigar too came up with this lame excuse that his bhai has not been seen for long. I tell you these Modis are users and not to be trusted and my poor innocent sister dot trapped into their evil web and now has made it impossible for me to abort her child." Just then Kajal walked in to tell them the Modi's have arrived but no Ahemji.
" Now you two listen to me carefully and I know this may not be the best option but I want my sister to have nothing to do with these Modis anymore... I know she is carrying their heir but only if they know. This is what we will do, Sara you go and distract them whilst Kajal and myself will snick Gopi out of the hospital and take her home and from there we will leave this place called Rajkot for good." Sanjay said" "but bhai this is wrong what if Gopi Di does not want that and we all know she love her husband..." Kajal this is for her own good and the quicker she accept this the better for her... and besides if Ahem cared he should have been here with his family but you see he is not bordered." " Bhai Saraben told you that Jijarji said..." I know these type of rich and arrogant people so don't even try to justify them and I know that you and Jigar...never mind that..but we have to do all we can to take Gopi away from here and from them."
" Fine Sanjay as you wish but how about the doctor's" Sara you leave that to me but ...yes..that's it tell the Modis that Gopi is no more." Sanjay! Bhaiya!" both girl exclaimed and looked at him as if he were insane. " This is too much Sanjay how can you think like that for sister and just think how will she forgive us when she finds out." When Sara went to confront the Modis, Sanjay and Kajal put Gopi in a wheelchair and when the doctor came back and saw what's being happening, Bhai cornered him and made him a partner to their crime. As they were snicking Gopi out Kajal's heart stopped and saw the devastation in the Modi family when they were told of Gopi's demise and that instant she was going to tell them the truth as what they were doing irrespective of Ahemji's actions was wrong but a strong pair of hands stopped her and moved her ahead and that instant too she taught Jigarji saw them but when he did not follow then knew that was just her wish. Outside the hospital and after placing Gopi at the back of the car and bhai told the driver to take her to his place..." Bhai please be rational and look at the fate of those people who have known Di more you did and at least for Di's sake don't do this to them. How can you punish a whole family for the wrong Ahemjiju..." " Just shut up Kajal please and do not even go near them and do as told and let me worry about what's best for Gopi." Sanjay muttered " Okay bhai you do as you feel right but am warning you Di loves Ahemji so much and any thing or anyone related to him and when she finds out our deeds only God knows whether she will forgive us." She warned and went inside to witness the result of their action and was broken herself and her heart clenched at the side of the one who has stolen her own heart trying hard to console his family. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and when she could not stand there anymore she left only for her bhai to tell her to go and give a parcel to the doctor for his help and that's when Jigarji cornered her to the small room.
Oh God how much I want to tell him the truth and relieve him of the pain he was trying hard to hide but feared he would hate her for ever for her part and being too close to him in that tiny space did not help nor the intimacy they shared. Later that day bhai told her and Sara that a family was cremating a body and all they had to do was be there and take part and that the family works for them and has agreed for him to do all the rituals etc... and the rest for their transport to Australis has been made and they were to leave the following week whilst Gopi's medication will be done there and when the left, she was still sedated as bhai made sure to inject her the right dosage each time it wears out. " Jigarji I know I've hurt you and your family but please believe me when I say that I have always wanted to tell you even when we came for Ahemjiju's death anniver..." "Sanjay bhai and Sara bhabi found out about Ahemji's demise and so did Gopi Di and she was adamant to come to death anniversary and I was to accompany her here and we did it for three years and each time we returned Gopi Di would lock herself in her room and go into isolation and later bhai built a shrine in Ahemji's memory so that she did not have to come here anymore."
Jiagr though he needed hearing aid as he could not believe his bhabi came to bhai's funeral but did not meet the family. " Di wanted to meet the family and console you but then she too was supposed to be dead and that guilt played in her mind and for that she is not talking to her bhai as she felt we have separated her from her family and she cannot share your grieve." Kajal interjected his thoughts and to let him know that his bhabi is a victim too. Karan was with me through my tough times in Australia and has declared his love and proposed to me...and bhai and bhabi approves" She now could see the uneaseness and uncertainty of where this is leading in his actions. Jigar closed his eyes and released the breath he was holding and smiled " yes she loves me thanks kanaji." He strode towards her as he wants her in his arms and not to let go but stopped inches away from her and hoped she will close the gap and she did as she threw herself on his chest and tears of joy rolled down and knew she has found her love and will not let his go ever and this she has learnt from her Di. " Jigarji am sorry for all the pain I caused you and intend on rectifying them." " shhh it's ok we will work together and sort out this mess and please promise me that you will stand by me always..." " Ohh Jigarji I will and first of all you need to know about Angad..he.." " Kajal now what's with this Angad..ohh you said bhabi you and Angad used to come here...is he the new man in bhabi's life.." "Yes Jigarji, he is the centre of Di's life and she would do anything for him." "Am happy at least bhabi has a companion and hopefully he will keep her happier tha the time she spent with bhai nad frank..."
