After Ahem left in such hurry, Gopi was very worried and anxiously waited for his call to tell her what was the need to leave in such a state. All sorts of things were flowing in her mind wondering whether it's her Maaji ok or other family members such as Baa. Her heart was pounding heavily as her thoughts of her family being in trouble races in her mind. When she could wait no longer, she tried calling Ahem but he keep cutting the line without saying anything or hearing her.
May be the call was from the office but it's can't be as it's nearly midnight but who could it be and what was so urgent that he did not even tell her but only said " Gopi I've to go urgently but I'll call you" and left without further explanation. May be it's Sanjay Bhai but even if it's him then Ahem would have told her so in her confused and worried state a nagging thought crossed her mind and pained her heart. " No Gopi don't even go there. Ahemji has changed and loves me so he would not rush to her after being so passionate with her. But what are the garantees that they were not seeing each other when she was away. Please kanaji don't let my imaginations run wild with this thought, Ahemji loves me and has said it to me many times and he is not one to two time me. Bang the door shut shaking her out of her thoughts and when she came out of her room to see what happened she saw Sara in tears rushing to her room in a fit of rage. Now what's with her Gopi thought and wondered how weird her night has been. She was worried about her lost brother whom she sent out of her house then it's Ahemji's sudden departure and now she can't help but wonder why her friend is in this state and then it hit her.
She knock on her door and when there was no answer she went in to find her crying on her bed. " Saraben am sorry for the hurt I've caused you. I know you are hurt because of my treatment of Sanjayji and I know you like him. I promise you tomorrow I will personally go and appologize to him for my misbehaviour and hopefully things will be better with you two."
Sara stopped her as she was leaving her room and called her to come and sit with her. " See Gopi this is not your fault but mine as I wanted Ahem and Sanjay to work out their differences and talk about you before the truth is revealed to you. What I want to say is that Sanjay and you are...".
"Saraben I knew who Sanjay is when I came back from Abdul papa. I met my maamaji who told me everything but when I saw him insult Ahemji, I oversee that we were related and blindly defended Ahemji but I did not mean to send him out like that and am sorry. But were are you coming from as I thought I left you in the launch." " I went to see Sanjay and explain to him a few things but then I realised I have fallen for him and actually want to console him about tonight but instead I added his worries Gopi and I know he likes me a lot but after tonight am not sure if I've spoilt it for us. I've never felt this way about anyone till now and am not sure how to let him know how I feel now." "Don't worry Saraben kanaji will solve all our worries." Both lay on her bed and talked until they went to sleep each still with doubt in their minds.
At MM both Modi brother were lost in their thoughts. Jigar wondered how to reveal Rashi's truth without the family thinking it's his way of trying to file a divorce and at the same time he was worried for his mum and her health. " Ahem bhai better come up with a great plan as his impatience is running out with Rashi and to be honest it's not Rashi that is disturbing his head but Kajal and now how is he to stay away from her after tonight. On the other hand Ahem was worried that he hurriedly told Jigar that he has a plan but that was not totally true as he was in shocked with the revelations of Rashi wanting him dead and all for money. It hurt him more to know that she was in fact behind Gopi leaving and most of the aweful things that happened between him and Gopi and to think that she would have been his wife has his mum approved of her. "Dear God my innocent wife went through hell because of her evil sister and maami's doings. I was always ready to blame her without giving her an opportunity to explain and was looking for faults in her so that I can rid her of my life. What a fool I've been Ahem Modi I was fasinated with the first time I saw her on our engagement and there on have hated the effect she had on me. My focus went hayway when in the same room as her and now I don't want to ever leave her. She is my world and would protect her but first I've to sort out Rashi and yes he has a plan now but has to tread carefully so as not to loose her again and this will work in their favour only then can I have my wife to myself wholly." Ahem talked to himself and then cursed himself when he remembered he was supposed to call her especially with the way he hurriedly left her without a proper explanation and then recalled getting calls when was consoling Jigar and did not bother to check who was calling at that time.
He reached for his phone and his heart beat stopped when he realised whose call it was. " oh God now what would she think after the way I left her. Hope she is still awake." The phone kept ringing and Ahem gave up and went to sleep thinking how to execute his plan.
