ok everyone thanks again for the lovely comments and here is a very long update. if it is too long then i apologise. i just need to get the story moving to my imagination area.

Part 5

Rashi was very unhappy with the news that Ahem would go to Delhi before everyone else and she had to wait for 3 days. The first thing she did as the men left for work was to run upstairs to her room and call her mummy.

Rashi: Hello mummy..

Urmila: Ha Rashi Dikra' wait wait I wanted to ask you last night what sarees I should take for the wedding? You know I couldn't sleep properly last night just thinking about delhii and how it will be. I wish I could go like you with the plane you know but what can I do Dhaval wants to go by train and that Choti kagdri is even agreeing to it. I don't know but something is happening between these two, they are just smiling at each other all the time and'..

Rashi: mummy will you listen to me. You are just talking away. I am important news to give you'

Urmila: ok ok tell me what happened?

Rashi: mummy, we are not going to Delhi tomorrow. Only Ahem jiju is'

Urmila: kya? What do you mean we are not going to?

Rashi: Mummy let me finish na'

Urmila: ok.bol

Rashi: Mummy, kamna ben's home is still not finished and that naukar at her place got sick so there is no male person to watch the work being done. Kamna ben is mostly at the hospital so that Gopi gawar is at home alone. Mummy kamna ben called this morning and asked for Ahem jiju to go to Delhi to look after the rest of the renovation so that gawar isn't alone.

Urmila: oh I see, so this is what has been cooking.

Rashi: what am going to do? What if that gawar starts coming close to Ahem jiju now? Mummy please do something so that he doesn't go.

Urmila: hmm don't worry dikra, ek kalakari magaj ma avi che. Listen to me very carefully and do as I tell you''

Parag had just returned from getting Ahem's ticket and went to kokila who was about to go upstairs to Ahem's room.

Parag: Koki here is Ahem's ticket just check to see that everything is ok.

Kokila had a look at the ticket and with a happy expression called Parag when he was about to leave for his room.

Kokila: Suniye, '(Parag turned and looked at koki) thank you for the ticket. I am sure Ahem will be happy have this.

Parag: its ok koki. It's the best that I can do for my son even though I never did anything for you and the children.

Kokila was feeling a little guilty for her behavior towards him and now left in a way that she always misunderstood her husband's nature in some way.

After Parag had left Hetal came to Kokila to talk to her when Rashi came in the midst of their conversation.

Rashi: mummy, kakiji. I wanted to ask you something.

Hetal: Ha Rashi bolo.

Rashi: woh, you know what I was thinking that Ahem jiju has so much office work to do so instead of him going why don't I go and help gopi with the renovation?

Kokila was now glaring at Rashi and knew that she was trying to get smart with them. In kokila's mind she had planned that she would send Ahem even if he had a million jobs to do because this was the best way to get her vau and beta close together and Rashi was now trying to spoil the whole plan.

Hetal: but the ticket is'

Kokila: why rashi? Suddenly you remembered your sister and now you are saying you want to go when the decision has already been made.

Hetal: rashi I am sorry it is a little too late now. The ticket is already here but your papaji said this morning that a male member needed to go.

Rashi: mummyji then jigarji can also go with me. Me, jigarji and gopi we will get the work done faster than you don't have to stay here for extra 3 days.

Now hetal started to think that might be a good idea and kokila was getting nervous because her plan was flopping until someone said "No rashi beta you can't go. It's not possible." Everyone turned to see who it was.

Rashi: but why I mean it will getting things done there faster'

Hetal: yes Parag bhai. It will help I suppose then kamna might not been so worried if the kids all go.

Parag: bhabhi I don't have any problem with the kids going but Kamna said no.

Kokila (curious): Kamna said no?

Parag: Yes she said no.

Rashi: but kakaji I am sure if we explain to Kamna ben the situation then maybe she will understand.

Kokila: rashi if kamna herself said no then she must have a good reason for it. So I think you should end this here now.

Hetal: rashi, kokila is right. If kamna had her reasons we should respect that..

Rashi: but mummyji we should at least talk to her and'

Parag: look rashi, I know you mean good but even if you and jigar go there is no room for you two to stay in. Kamna told me this specifically and she had insisted that Ahem should go. She will be very upset to hear you talk like this so I think you should just leave the issue now.

Rashi was shut up now, she could not argue anymore. Her mother's plan had flopped. Kokila felt a great amount of respect for Parag shutting rashi up and decided she could be a little nicer to him.

Ahem came home around 4 in the afternoon which was unusual for his timing but he knew he had to go to Delhi on the evening train. He got to his room and saw Kokila just about finished packing his things into his bag.

Ahem: mom, you are here?

Kokila: yes ahem dikra, I just finished packing your things. You go freshen up and I will give you food to eat before you head off.

Ahem: ji mom. (Suddenly his eyes fell on something his mother was packing and he couldn't resist asking her.) Mom what is that?

Kokila (smiling to herself): oh this, it's a sari for my gopi vau. I haven't seen her for 2 weeks and it makes me feel like I haven't seen her in months. This is shagun for her. Please give it to her with your own hands.

Ahem: But mom you are going in 3 days so why don't you give it to her then?

Kokila: no ahem. I kept a special pooja for her well-being after her luggage got lost and panditji told me I had to give her a gift after I saw her. I thought we were all going tomorrow but due to the circumstances we can't so you must give this to her on my behalf. And it is required for her to have it tomorrow by the evening to keep the pooja intact.

Ahem: ok mom whatever you say.

Rashi who had told her mom about the earlier incident was crying and asking her mom for help again.

Urmila: Rashi Dikra your stupid saas and that bari kagdri will say many things so don't be upset. I have a better kalakari in my head.

Rashi: what if this doesn't work? what if ahem jiju still goes?

Urmila: let him go.

Rashi: mummy what are you saying let him go? Mummy I told you the problem now you are saying to let him go'

Urmila: relax relax. I have a really great kalakari in my head and this will work. (rashi was listening carefully) You need to put anger, doubt and hate in Ahem and by this that gopi gawar will get his wrath and even if he stays there before we come he will hate gopi as if she is a disease.

Rashi: ok mummy tells me how'..

Ahem was doing his last minute checking of things in his room and thinking in his mind that he will be going to Delhi after such a longtime. The last time he went there was to finish his studies and he lived with his Kamna di and had so much fun. Then Jigar got that chance too. It was one of best times of his life. While thinking that he realized that Gopi is there and she probably is having the best time of her life as well. Then he thought to himself if she deserved happiness after the things she did here. This is when he heard a familiar voice just outside his room talking

Rashi: kya? How can you do this gopi? '... So all this happened because of you'...but kamna ben could have told about it to kakiji'...oh my god gopi, you could have said this before so why now?... 'ok I promise I won't tell her and don't worry I will see you in 3 days. (disconnects the phone)

Ahem heard "Gopi", "your fault", "why didn't you tell kakiji?" from Rashi's conservation and knew something was up. So he called her before she went down.

Ahem: Rashi, come here please...

Rashi (smirking inside because Ahem fell for her trap): yes jiju did you call me.

Ahem: yes were you having a conversation with Gopi?

Rashi: no no jiju I was ...

Ahem: don't lie to me. I already heard most of your conversation so you better tell me what happened.

Rashi: woh jiju' I promised gopi I wouldn't tell'...

Ahem: Rashi don't test my patience, tell me what that gawar sister of yours has done'...

Rashi: but jiju its nothing b'...(she was trying to sound convincing)

Ahem: Rashi that gawar is my wife and is she does anything to mess up my sister's wedding I have a right to know to say it right now...'(he was losing his patience now)

Rashi: ok ok jiju. Well you know the kaka of kamna ben's house had a heart attack'...

Ahem: yes we all know about shyamu kaka, carry on...

Rashi: well gopi was kind of responsible for that'...

Ahem: what? Are you insane? Gopi is responsible'

Rashi: I didn't want to tell you that but...

Ahem: how did it happen?

Rashi: jiju she didn't elaborate but she was crying'...

Rashi: please jiju don't tell kakiji. She will be very upset about this and gopi told me not to tell her.

Ahem for a second thought about it and decided against telling his mom. Both his mom and kaki had so many things to do for kamna di's wedding and this news would just devastate them. Rashi just left slowly but watched ahem quietly while his anger fueled.
