last 100 points and this week 103 points, she is ranked 35, look at number 36 Debina Bonerjee 99 points so Giaa's 100 points from last week would see her at number 35 this week also, if commenting and likes were same week to week.

The effort to comment on fan pages and images will always keep Giaa Manek around that area, in fact I think they have cooked the fan club parameter, look it last week Giaa had less fans in her fan club and now has more fans but the fan club parameter has dropped one point.

I think the whole ranking system needs an overhaul as it is it's not doing us any favours.

The number 1 serial scoring such record breaking TRP is ranked 6th on India Forums.

GEC Ratings: Star Plus takes huge leap ahead in Week 50

Sony in second place, Colors in third

In Week 50, Star Plus, already the leader, surged way ahead of its competition. Backed by strong TVRs from four of its shows, the channel was at 350 GRPs in Week 50, from 318 in Week 49.

Sony Entertainment Television was at second place but fell by 12 GRPs to 228 in Week 50.

Colors dropped by 2 GRPs to 225 in Week 50, but earned the second runner-up position.

Zee TV remained at 152 GRPs in Week 50.

Sab dropped to 117 GRPs (120 in Week 49), Imagine stayed at 77 GRPs and Star One improved by 1 GRP to 40. Sahara One was at 41 GRPs (39 in Week 49).

Strike Action

The strike might be harming our effort to get tellybuzz removed from the ranking system.

Yes the ranking system is flawed, and very unfair, we took a stand and we were heard by those above, without the strike, nobody would have taken notice of our fight for the removal of Tellybuzz and Incorporation of TRP, that is a fact, people only had their emotions activated on hearing the word "STRIKE"...so it served some purpose!!!

I'm in the process of getting more support for the campaign to remove Tellybuzz from the ranking system. At the beginning of last week we had 57 people signed up in support of the campaign today we have 171 people signed up to this campaign, of those 171 people 26 people are Development Team members, this means many people on IF have recognised that the ranking system needs to change and is unfair.

We also heard, through the grapevine, that Tellybuzz was removed from the ranking system, but we waited for an announcement this week and none was forthcoming, this has led me to the conclusion that though the strike effort allowed us to show IF that we were unhappy with the ranking system at first, but now it is actually having a harmful effect with regards to a decision being reached.

Today all Saathians can return to normal commenting on fan pages and images and hitting the chaskameter 😊
