An article's Buzz points are not counted even if we get RATE, COMMENT, LIKE'S on it now if it's not in the published in the concerned week, only the articles points for the last week are counted in the ranking for the following week.

I checked this with Giaa Manek's article What IF published Sunday 23 October 2011 https://www.indiaforums.com/article/what-if_29621

What happened is we had 50 people that commented on that Telly Buzz article, what happened with that article is the following week we had up to 77 people that commented on it, however the BUZZ on Giaa Maneks TV celebrity Ranking for the following week showed zero 0 under BUZZ points. have a look at the ranking from 24 October 2011 to 30 October 2011 (this was released to us on 1 November 2011) https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/rules-and-announcements/1937792/television-celebrity-ranking-for-10-24-2011-to-10-30-20

You will notice Giaa Manek had a huge drop from 19th to 26th, though Sandy, Anisha and I had tried on Diwali day to send PM's with 3 images for people to RATE, COMMENT and LIKE (to the 50 people that commented on the What IF article of Giaa Manek) we still couldn't stem the negative impact of not having a Telly Buzz article the following week, as it's not counted even if we comment on it the following week as those people who commented late their comments, rating and likes aren't even counted in the ranking at all.

This is the main reason I don't like Telly Buzz articles, unless the TB team can guarantee us an article for Giaa Manek every week, we are going to have huge drop in ranking each time we don't have the article but we had one the last week.

Ridzzi asked Nadii, she is on the TB team I think about having a Telly Buzz article more frequently she said that the TB team only put up an article if something extraordinary is happening in the serial, so for example for 1 year and half Rashi got away with murder and finally she is caught the TB team will go and interview her that my example...lol. Here is Ridzzi asking Nadii "Any Suggestions to I-F, Vijay or Development Team. -- I would like if we (SNS fans) would be updated with what will happen in SNS/News from SNS, because we hardly get News On SNS from TB. 😔 So please!" and her reply to Ridzzi "Hey dear news will come whenever there is anything new in shows:)"

I took that to mean we can't rely that a TellyBuzz article will come every week.

The shows that had a TB article last week like BALH is ranked 6 when it was 9 last week, They had a TellyBuzz article last week, so they got alot of ranking points from people RATE, COMMENT, LIKE's on that article, however we know what happens after a Tellybuzz article, unless they have another one again this week, they will drop down the rankings. So in the chaskameter we have an opportunity to rise because of their drop.

Also, I have another glimmer of hope for everybody who is concerned with rankings, when I was reading the Television Celebrity Rankings today Vijay (Admin person that creates them) said: "We are even working on a way to add Show TRP points also as one of the various parameters in determining the popularity of the actor for the week", however, there is a drawback this he put under the FAQ how ranking is calculated at the bottom of the rankings for the week (so he has been saying it for ages and hasn't incorporated TRP in the ranking as yet), so I decided today to prompt him I send him a PM and also I went to the Suggestions/Comments Forum which Vijay and other Moderators frequent for them that calculate the rankings to see what I had posted, normally what happens in that forum is a member raises an issue and a Moderator (mostly the senior ones) will answer your query for you. Here is my thread raising the issue https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/suggestions-comments/2075385/tellybuzz-team-could-you-arrange-chat-sessions I really feel that when the TRP is incorporated in the rankings we Saath Nibhana Saathiya will have a fair shot in the rankings system, because we are normally No.1 or 2 in the TRP charts therefore we would get nearly maximum TRP points which would help our ranking position immensely.
