Hi everyone Shilpa here with short OS, this is my hopes and dreams:
Part 1.
It is the night of Kinjles wedding, Ahem reluctantly takes milk from Gopi, unable to keep his eyes off of her in her blue sari, and goes up to his room. He sets the milk down and sits on the bed and rest his head on the bed and closes his eyes. He thinks thank god everything worked out, and Gopi was able to handle everything on the home front. He then drifts of to la, la, land and start having some major flash backs of her. All of sudden he wakes up and thinks what am I thinking, I don't even like her, what he doesn't realize at this time is that that's not him, but his ego taking control of his heart and his brain.
So he has decided his going to ask him to send Gopi away, and he will talk to her first thing in the morning.
In the morning his decision is reinforced by the gas incident, he ask him mom he wants to talk to her. When his mom comes up, before he could change his mind, he tell her, he wants her to keep her promise to him, to get Gopi out of the house. Koki shocked, he tells her he has to go for a meeting and come back and talk to her about what she has decided and leaves.
He is talking on the phone, drops some papers, but does not notice, when he turns he sees her picking up the papers, he hesitates for a moment, but then his ego takes over and he tells her to stop, softening it with a please.
When he comes back from the meeting, he goes straight to his moms room to find out about her decision. By now his ego is in tight control once again. He lists all the reason why he does not want to stay with Gopi, she is not good enough for him, she is uneducated and blah, blah, blah. Finally Koki agrees, both mother and son unaware Gopi has heard everything.
Gopi in her room, decides to spare her MIL and put her husband out of his missery, in other words she decides to leave on her own, and spare her mother in law the pain of asking her to leave, that's just the way Gopi is made, think of everyone else first and self last.
Ahem in his room, felling restless and some pain in region of where his heart is supposed to be (oops! forgot he doesn't have a heart, that's a stone there). But once again the ego takes over and everything is well in Ahem's world, don't see anything, but what your ego shows you.
He hears murmur of conversation and goes to see what's happening, he sees Gopi with bag and everyone asking where she is going, once again the twig of pain then nothing. He hears Gopi telling kakiji about the promise she made and his ego is happy, finally she is leaving. She takes blessings from everyone and starts walking towards the door. The closer to the door she goes more pain he feels, about to say something, but Koki's voice stops him, he agrees to go drop her off.
He is in the car waiting for Gopi, his thinking is this right thing to do, why do I feel pain? what am I feeling? He is so frustrated ( I think its sexual frustration, He needs some major physical loving to think straight, not going to happen since his kicking his wife out).
Now we are in the road, Ahem still battling with his ego and obviously the ego is winning, his ego even keeps him from looking at her, god forbids he should look at the pain and love in her eyes, his heart (if he had one) might just melt. So no looking, let her look all she wants. He drops her off and leaves.
Back at MM, ego still in control, when asked by Baa and Kakaji, he had to tell them he could not live with a lie anymore, even then not realizing the only lie that's between him and Gopi is lie he tells himself everyday about not loving her, about not admitting she is his true life partner (Saathyia).
