It's kinda nice being the older ones. At least for me. I've always wanted to be the old lady in the back of the room that says what everyone is thinking, but no one has the guts to say! At 47, I have arrived!

In my group of friends, when the mom falls ill, we bring in meals. The big joke around here is that if my hubby falls sick, the meals are brought in! I'm lost in a kitchen. However, one of my goals is to make a Thanksgiving turkey, so that may happen this year. Wish me luck. I have about a month to get my courage up!

I have a feeling that it will be my family that calls the the police. Or I will come home one day and all my friends and family will be in the family room with an intervention.
