What do you think life in the Modi household would have been without Rashi??? What if Jigar had not married Rashi, it doesn't even have to be Sonal but any other girl. Rashi takes Koki's yelling, insults and taunts only because she is a gold digger and wants to stay in the beautiful rich Modi household. But what if Jigar had married Sonal for example? Would she have been able to tolerate Koki's constant yelling, her mother-in-law more like a devrani, her and Gopi's constant comparison, husband be treated no more then a servant by his brother? Yes Gopi and Sonal might have had a good relationship, but do you think the way Koki acts would have created a brick wall bigger and more worse then the wall that is up between Rashi and Gopi? How long would have they been able to keep a good relationship? Rashi and Gopi's relationship is already on rocky road so nothing worse can happen...but what if it was another person? Rashi knows that Gopi is a sweet innocent naive girl, but another girl might not and take it as Gopi trying to be good two shoe and make her look bad. That can easily have turned aginst her. Koki's yelling doesn't affect Rashi more then getting her mad or annoyed. She is to dumb and shameless to even realize how big of a insult Koki makes of her, example calling her a Nagin. Is that a positive thing or a negative thing? I think if Sonal had become Jigars wife, I personally don't think Sonal would have been able to tolerate unfairness, Koki's constant yelling or the way she treats her mother-in-law. Though Rashi tries to get back to Koki with her evil plans, she has no motive to leave, she is so money hungry that she has not yet thought about creating two homes or batwara. I am sure it will get to that point, but I am also sure that Rashi will change. I think as long as she is allowed to use money freely she doesn't even care if she lives with everyone or doesn't. Making her a bit naive......So is it good fortune that Rashi is Gopi's Devrani?

Taral, very different perspective. Something for us to think about.

I am not quiet sure that Rashi is good fortune. Every trick, game and problem caused by Rashi for Gopi has been behind her back..in front of her face Rashi sometimes pretends to be a friend, sister and confidant but behind her back she is always plotting against her.

So regardless of who Jigar married at least if the wife didn't like Gopi the dislike would, hopefully, have been in front of her instead of being back stabbed by a sister.

And who is to say they wouldn't have liked each other? They may have become friends despite Koki.Especially if she was a good person with strong character. And it would have been great for Gopi to have a female friend. Something Rashi only pretends to be..

Loved your post Taral...some new food for thought....😊
If there was some other girl in Rashi's place, someone with good intentions, I don't think Koki would have objected to that. All Koki wants is that her bahus take their responsibilities seriously. Rashi gets the yelling and taunting from Koki as she has proved that she can't do any household work, is lazy and careless. Not only this, Rashi is constantly trying to get Gopi in trouble. Koki can see this hence her hatred towards Rashi. If it was some other girl things might have been different depending on the girl's intentions.
