The show had a TRP of 5.3 this week and is currently the number one show on Indian television.

Gopi, who plays Jia on the show was ecstatic about the news. "I am thrilled that the show has been rated number 1 across Indian television. I was pleasantly surprised when I came to know about it this week. I am amazed and glad that the audience has been watching our show regularly and that they have welcomed our show and the characters in it. It is wonderful for all of us. We distributed sweets on the sets and the channel will be sending a cake to us. It's a lovely Diwali gift for the cast and the crew of the show," she said.

Speaking to us, producer Rashmi Sharma said, "I am delighted that our five-month-old show has become the most viewed show on television. It's a collective team effort and I am proud of the cast and crew for the hard work that they have put in. We will definitely throw a party for the team and we plan on celebrating next week, since most of our actors aren't in town this week."

She has chosen the eve of Diwali, a grand occasion at the Modis, to malign Kokila ben's image. For the past 20 years Kokila ben has been celebrating Diwali in traditional style following all the rituals and customs but this time she will be under the scanner for committing a folly and much to her surprise and ignorance of her family members, it will be Rashi who will plan and scheme against her. Kokila will try hard to unmask Rashi but will she succeed or fail? And will she be able to keep the family name from being tarnished?

Says Kokila Modi, "This is going to be a very dramatic episode with a shocking twist to offer to the viewers. I am targeted badly by Rashi who is trying every trick in the trade to spoil my image and bring me malice. We are preparing for Diwali and like for the past 20 years this year again I am going to make ghee on my own for the lamps that will be lit throughout the night and also the prasad which has to be prepared out of that pure ghee. I am making it sitting on the floor like we have been doing for so many years. But just at the last hour, Rashi replaces the ghee with the oil and the traditional lamp is lit in oil and we realize that the prasad too has been made of oil. My family members will take it as my folly and I would be left with no choice but to prove my innocence. Whether or not am I able to do it will be shown in tomorrow in the special episode"

As Rashi succeeds in tarnishing Kokila's image, we wonder if the latter will be able to save her chances from getting accused of making a horrendous folly.

Well as promised by Kokila she will not let Rashi off the hook easily, but will she be able to prove her guilty? We'll just have to wait and watch.
