Written Update: 06/23/08

continuation of wedding ceremony from thursday.
Kalika asks her mother to bless her so that she will not face any unhappiness from now onwards.Kalika's mom is still lifeless, so Ambika puts her hand on Kali's head. She seeks Ambika's blessings and hugs her.She hugs Samar, Shubra,Kaveri, and she takes rice from a plate in Ambika hands and throws backwards(a wedding ritual).
Then she seeks GP singh and Padma's Blessings, GP singh gives her a bag of coins, and tells her to distribute them among the poor, which she does. While Kali is doing this, Saloni says she wishes her father was here and fulfilled his responsibility of marrying his daughter off.. Kalika looks at her, and Nahar tells its time to leave.
GP singh tells Samar that Ambika was kind enough to allow him and his wife to do the Kanyadaan, for which he will be indebted to her. He tells her to place the coconut under a tire of Kalika and Kshitij's car, which is usually done by Bride's father or brother. While Samar is doing this, Narpat(now bearded and hiding in a black rug) appears and touches the coconut.
Narpat feels happy that his wife finally accepted Kalika and married her off like her own daughter. He wishes Kalika all the best.

At Singh's residence:
Kali and Kshitij are standing at the door. Saloni pours coconut water at the door. Bhabho tells them to enter inside. Kalika kicks the vessel filled with rice, and enters inside. Tara brings the arthi plate, she says with Kalika stepping inside the house, she feels the house will be filled with happiness always. And our home will always be filled with happiness and peace. Meanwhile Kshitij is thinking.."Bhabhisa i feel your general knowledge is weak, because she has never heard of the name dynamite, which with a press of a button can destroy even a hardest rock in to several pieces. like wise i will destroy this family which is closenit together as hard as a rock.which Tara does not know".Tara does the arthi, then Saloni and Bhabho also do the arthi to newly weds.Kalika and Kshitij seeks blessings of Bhabho and Tara. Kalika also seeks blessings with Saloni, Saloni says no, she says Kali is elder to her. However Kali tells that although she is older in terms of age, saloni is older than her in terms of relations.Saloni blesses her. Then they seek blessings of Nahar, and Kakasa.Tara and Saloni go and sit on the sofa. Kakasa says he is blessed to get Kali as his daughter-in-law.And no gift is big enough to give her, yet he asks her to accept his gift.. which is a gold plated watch. Tara says, "come in devrani, we want to test your capability to handle the responsibilities of a wife. Seven plates have been placed on the floor in a zig zag fashion, and Kshitij points the sword to each plate, and moves it a little, which Kalika has to bend and pick it. After the process, Tara says they both have passed the test and gifts her a gold set, which she says is from family, and tara says she is one among them. Kalika and Kshitij look at each other briefly.

At the mandir:
Bhabho tells everyone to take blessings of the Matarani. Tara says Kalika and Kshitij that there are still some more rasams to be fulfilled.
Tara says this is to test who will obey who in the marriage. Tara drops a ring in a vessel filled with milk, and Kali succeeds in finding the ring.
Dheer says that Kali beat him. Nahar comments to Kshitij that, "seems like you have decided to be a ghulam to your wife". Kshitij looks at his wife and says that, yes she can always rule him but in his heart. to which everyone smiles. Kshitij thinks that let everyone smile as much as possible because they will all be crying soon. Bhabho tells Saloni to take Kali and Kshitij to the ancestral worshipping place.."Ksheer dhaara". Kali does the arthi at Ksheer dhara and Bhabho tells everyone to pray. Bhabho tells Kshitij to get some ksheer and feed it to kali, which Kshitij does. Bhabho tells Kali, that this is ritual followed by the family from generations, and the new bride is made to come here and worship it. This is not mere water and it symbolises prosperity. No body knows where this water flows from, and it is very sacred.

kshitij's room:
Its decorated with flowers and Kalika is sitting on the bed. Kshitij comes in and locks the door.Kshitij walks towards Kali and sits besides her. They made us dance like puppets throughout the marriage, which he hates.He throws his head covering and the garland. Then he gets a bottle of whiskey and two glasses. Kalika looks shocked, and Kshitij says that she should not worry, since no body is there except them. Meanwhile its shown water has stopped
flowing from the Ksheer dhara(which may be the indication of future troubles haunting singh parivaar?). Kshitij gets a glass with whiskey, and offers it to Kali. He says they all celebrated in their own way, and we will celebrate our way now. Kali looks shocked while Kshitij says, that she has to get used to it, and he is her husband and she has to
be with her. Kalika takes the glass, and lifts her veil, and looks smilingly at Kshitij. she gets down from the bed, she congratulates Kshitij for the first step towards his goal. Kshitij also congratulates her.

Promo--Kalika says "Poor Saloni, she thinks that I have forgotten all the injustice done to me and my mother, and have accepted her(Saloni)family as my own. which will never happen!
