Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai, the serial that brought Neena Gupta and Kanwaljeet Singh together again, is being pulled off air

They were once known as TV's golden couple with their show Saans in the 90's and now, after almost a decade, Neena Gupta and Kanwaljeet Singh had returned on the tube with Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai. Unfortunately the show is going off air this month.

An insider reveals, "Neena Gupta was trying to ham a little too often and Kanwaljeet was off-colour too. The two had no chemistry. The show did not click and the channel has decided to call it off."

The show, Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai is a comedy about six people. Every situation they face is straight out of a typical Bollywood film.

In fact, Kanwaljeet has stopped shooting for the show since a month. When contacted, he said, "I am out of town for three weeks."

However, Sunil Grover aka Lallan of Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai, confirmed that the show is being pulled off air. He says, "I know about it. But it's okay. I had fun doing the show and I gained some experience too."
