Thumb trouble for Sachin Shroff
Sachin Shroff mistakenly cut his left thumb during the shoot of Har Ghar Kutch Kehta Hai and ended up getting three stitches. Ironically, this made very difficult for him to shoot a scene for Saat Phere.
Says the injured actor, "I was shooting for my death scene in Saat Phere for which I had to hang on a tree branch for at least for an hour and a half. We were shooting in Filmcity, Mumbai on a helipad. There was this huge valley underneath and my hand started paining very baldy. But as an actor you have to bear some pain. What's most important is that the scene went off well."

How did the thumb injury occur? "The sequence in Har Ghar…was that my wife doesn't know how to cook. So I had to make the meal as she was telling me the ingredients. During this I had to pretend that I have cut my finger but after 40 seconds I came to know that I had actually cut my thumb," Sachin reveals.
Sachin started bleeding profusely so the light man immediately applied some chuna. Since it was a kitchen scene, turmeric powder was also available and others came up with colon water and bandges. "They pampered me so much but in the night when I came back, I realized that it was still bleeding. So next morning I went to my doctor and got stitches," he adds
