Reggie and Moose-samar/mazher

T V actors Amit Verma and Mazher Sayed are friends for the last seven years. While Amit has done Instant Khichdi and Hotel Kingston and is presently doing Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai, Mazher has done Kahin to Hoga and now, Saat Phere. The two actors share their tale of friendship. First met They first met at a shoot based on Archie's comics. They were strugglers then, they've made a mark today. Amit had to play Reggie while Mazher was Moose. "Ever since that day, we have become the best of friends and never fought even once," says Amit. A friend in need is a friend indeed Mazher remembers, "I didn't even know what a portfolio was at that time. Amit introduced me to a photographer and even arranged for the clothes." Amit adds, "We always went for auditions together. If I was called, I always told Mazher and vice versa." They've always stood by each other. If Amit is good at giving professional advice, Mazher loves to give advice on personal issues. Fallen for the same girl, huh? Amit says, "No, never. We would always look upon each others' girl as a bhabhi". But on the fun note, Mazher adds, "I was always very shy. Amit being the better-looking was always lucky to have all the girls." Amit adds, "But there's one girl whom we both have a crush on but neither of us have managed to get her — Priyanka Chopra." Wild and whacky Amit says, "We were doing theatre together. One day during a play reading, we were fired for playing a prank. We noticed that one of our colleagues had worn a wig and it wasn't fitting him well that day. We decided to have some fun and turned the table fan towards him, which sent his wig flying. Every one had a great laugh but we got spanked." Mazher says, "I once arranged for a surprise birthday party for Amit, but he got to know about it. He didn't think I would be calling his relatives too. He thought it was just a party for friends, so he lied to his parents that he was going to be shooting that night.
