This one's for u naz!😊Chapter 1: Walking confidently into the atrium of their office, both women nodded and shared pleasantries with their fellow colleagues and then parted ways to go to their respective offices, not without promising to meet at 8 in the main conference room at the top floor of SC with Kaveri Bhabi and Samar.
While Shubrah went off to review the different company representatives coming to their main hall today, and organize for the bid and after-party, Saloni sent an office boy to inform Samar and Kaveri about their impromptu meeting and then groan over the fact that she was going to have to face that Singh boy…man…idiot, for the first time in her business career.
Saloni and Nahar Singh were at logger heads with each other ever since Saloni and her brother, sister and sister-in-law ventured into the business world and became an instant success, taking the lime-light away from the Singh brothers' business establishment.
They had never met or seen each other before because they were both stubborn and strong minded. Though both appeared and magazine covers many times, neither paid any attention to their rival simply because "it made no difference" to either.
If there ever was a social party for the elite society of Mumbai, Saloni would not attend because she preferred to be at home, do something personal rather than mingle with people who only cared to appear on page 3, and if there was ever a meeting where both businesses were set to meet, Nahar would send his elder brother, Brijesh, so that he would not have to confront that Srivastav girl.
This would be the first time they would be facing each other, since Brijesh was unable to attend due to a problem occurring with one of their companies in Rajasthan and Nahar had no choice but to attend.
Nahar was warned to watch out for Saloni because she was a fierce businesswoman, she made few errors and they were immediately corrected by herself a few seconds after they occurred, she was sharp and witty, and was notorious for sourcing the most unattainable information with her keen detective abilities. If she wasn't a Srivastav, he would've already been encouraged to hook up with her, because from all that he heard, she was beauty and brains…a rare package in this world, but, since she was, he was utterly disgusted, and wanted to be done with this as soon as possible, win the bid and get away from there, though he couldn't deny that he was a bit curious as to what this woman really was like.

Conference Room- Top Floor, Srivastav Corp. 8:00-am.Saloni walked into the room and saw that three of the four pillars of Srivastav Corp, Samar, Kaveri, Shubrah, were already seated and waiting for their fourth knight to arrive.
Smiling pleasantly, but with that glint in her eye which showed she had found something BIG, she handed over some navy blue folders with a silver "confidential" printed across the front, with the SC logo embossed at the top corner to each member in the room.
"Last night I noticed that the description on the land appeared a bit vague when it came to discussing infrastructure and development. I did a bit of digging and it seems that the location of the land, though ideal for a vast Hotel system and could capacitate a water park, restaurant and shopping centre, there is restrictions due to law that would prohibit any such operations from occurring, and any infrastructure set up on it could easily be demolished according to the legal system.
" (Author's note: I have no idea what I am talking about here, so please, pretend in this imaginary world, such a thing does exist J )
"So… the owner's took a risk, it's a hoax?" Asked Samar.
"Exactly" Saloni beamed.
"Now what do we do?" Kaveri's mind was already in hyper-drive for a plan.
"We let some other company, hopefully if they haven't discovered this, make the biggest bid. Let them win, because for us, it won't be a loss…but, a bigger win in the long run"
"Genius Di" said Shubrah, smiling appreciatively at her sister.
"Array wah! This is why you lead the hotel and management sector didi" Samar beamed at his sister, and Kaveri nodded supportively.
"Thank you, thank you…omg…look at the time! Now that this is all covered, Kaveri bhabi, you meeting starts in 20 minutes, you better go prepare, good luck!" Saloni hugged her sister-in-law wished her the best and headed out of the room, tucking her folder neatly under her arm. The others did the same and left, Kaveri and Samar to the board room for Kaveri's presentation- They led the Trade sector of the business, making the deals with both national and international contenders, Shubrah to her department- She was the head of the Social Sector of Srivastav Corp. She planned and prepared all of the events of SC, and she was damn good at it too, and now she had to go ensure everything was in order for he bid, and the after party where they would celebrate the victory of the lucky company.
