According to reports, Apara has got better offers in hand with a better fee. Hence, she is no longer interested in continuing with Saat Phere. "Apara is already getting very good money," reveals a source related to the production of the serial. "But she has been led to believe that she is indispensable and wants a further raise. So, the producers are forced to end her track." But when contacted, Apara has a different story altogether to say. "No, no I am not leaving the show. Actually my character Kakisa is going to jail. And right from the beginning, the time I had joined the show almost four months back; it was decided that it will be there for only a few months and wouldn't stay put. Also I wanted to concentrate on my stage shows and look after my health better. So it's a welcome break," Apara denies any such controversy surrounding her exit from the high-profile serial. It definitely is a welcome break for Apara but when will she be seen again? "I may or may not come back. Nothing has been decided as yet," says Apara. Now given the fact that in an earlier interview, she herself had accepted that she has exhausted all her savings in buying a dream home, how does she propose to run it, if she doesn't take up new assignments! "She has already signed a show with Star Plus and that is the only reason she is quitting Saat Phere," informs another source. When confronted, Apara changes her previous take and accepts that she is doing producer JD of Khichdi fame's new serial for Star tentatively titled Resham Dank and is in no mood to sit at home. However, Apara is going to miss the Saat Phere unit a lot. "Oh yes, I was very close to Rajshree (Saloni) and many others. But then the show must go on," says Apara with a sigh. In fact, she wishes the entire unit of Saat Phere best of luck and hopes they would come up with some very interested track post Kakisa's exit. "I have no idea what they are going to do with the story now. They might be showing a happy family get together or something else. Let's see." It seems the exit of Apara and the culmination of the Kaki sa track is a big loss for the channel. |
