I had read the update and was so furious , i just skipped the episode . I was like to Saloni its acceptable to be a bloody thief .....but singing in a competition is a worse crime ?????????

If her parents got to know about it (since they are conservative ) they'd be angry and upset about her singing publicily ???!!!??? .But wouldn't they loose all respect for their daughter of they got to know she was a common thief.Wouldn't they be disappointed and ashamed of raising a daughter who's a damn thief ????????

Doesn't Saloni have any brains ??????????? I guess not ???Thats why i said i hate Saloni's spineless attitude !!

I totally agree with you... 😊 👏

She first stands still and listens and later goes and complains to her Buah that why is she being mistreated? I mean what kind of attitute is that?

What I don't understand is why they portray women in such poor light in these serials?? Either they are home breakers or people who are doormats or Ms. Sacrificing.. The only people I liked were Piya from Kashish and pre-leap Simran.. The independent, working yet caring women in them is what attracted me towards these characters and people. That Simran's character has been distorted and been made into one who I can't relate to anymore post-leap is a different issue.. But I still prefer that kind to the Sati-Savitri, marriage-is-the-most-important-thing-for-women kind of girls/women..I am just hoping that attitude will change in Saloni.

Given her attitude, the only way Saloni would change is if she starts believing in herself and loving herself for what she is...i think that the definition of being an adult is "when you stop looking towards your parents for every direction" and she needs to be an adult!

Excellent point Pallavi !!!

I too get so fed up the way these girls are portrayed these days, my blood seriously boils !!!

Loving the parents, the family and all that stuff is fine, but actually lying down get walked all over ?? Where in the world are those balanced women we once came across on tv like Kalyani of Udaan or Badki and Majhli of hum Log,Priya of Imtihaan (the best women oriented serial to date after Udaan) or even the famous Tara and her flat mates who come to Mumbai to make a career and actually live like normal girls and make normal mistakes !!! Simran gave a wave of fresh air with her bold yet sensitive portrayal of a strong woman who was very human before the director had to spoil it all...

Why are we going towards glorifying these perrinially regressive women who in the name of 'parivaar' take anything and don't have a spine?? 😡

Other than giving her an dark look, I don't see anything in this serial which makes it different from the kasauties and Tulsis and the all the prototypes that we have today. At least jassi gave her one whole year of real life feel before morphing into Michael Jackson identity crisis personified. Maybe we shud be thankful for small mercies!! 😡

Minnie good to finally see you posting .
I absolutely loed Udaan ,Tara and Hum Log . I wish one of these channels ( not DD) would buy the rights and show its again !! Hey even "Kuchi Dhoop" was great bunch of girls with dreams!! Seriously the character portrayal of these women - Saloni and also RimJhim of PKG are awfull examples set by women .Even the women in Kitty Party were strong women ..........not the whiny sorts !!!
