Yes , but ramas it is a terminal illness ! So what if Varun is their best friend and so what if they both trust him , just by calling in an extra specialist or doing more research on it or taking him abroad does not necessarily mean that they distrust Varun ! In fact in such a case even the doctor treating the patient tells , or recommends other doctors and says Lets see if we get hope here !
When my 26 year old brother died of a terminal disease that was so rare that his was only the fourth case in India , although one of our relatives who was a highly accomplished doctor was treating him , we took him to so many other specialists ..........in all fields when allopathy gave up ! Even he encouraged us saying keep trying one never knows where hope comes from .
The very fact that this doctor dissuades them from seeking a second opinion should appear fishy to Saloni . When the question of Nahar dying arises , why should she even bother and think about how Varun will feel etc if I go to another Doctor ..........is this even the time for such thoughts ? My husband is dying Ill keep searching for doctors till i fnd hope and go not to one but many difficult temples to pray for spiritual blesings shud be her attitude .
What really comes across is gross inexperience on her part in handling such a serious matter all by herself . A 28 or 25 year old gal who had healthy life till then , what does she really know about handling sickness ? Consulting with elders is vital in this issue as they have seen life , the sicknesses that come with it and how to go about it !
How many years is her marraige with Nahar ? Three or four yearls old.....his relationship with his family and Brijesh is perhaps of 30 years ! And not telling them even till he dies , is terrible ! What , is she going to tell them suddenly after he dies that he died today and you know what , I didnt show him to other docs as we both trusted Varun implicitly ! See how that sounds !
Why only Brijesh , so many are there , like Kakasa who has contacts abroad , Samar , her own brother , Neel .....his wife Nishi is a doctor ......and this woman is hurriedly doing power off in thehouse and rushing in car here there and lying to the family ............how stupid this full thing is !
What I find it hard to believe is how even Mannobhabi has not told her to tell others .
I agree with some other members on the forum who said in another thread that she is going to be largely responsible for Nahar's death ...........simply because of inept and irresponsible handling of a critical situation in which she believed in her own decision making abilities to such an extent that she forgot that the best decisions made are by listening to other opinions .
