Aamir is more trainned than Sameer but also forgets lyrics a lot hehe which Sameer only did once 😆 😆 😆 . Rohit is a Gem. consistant , highly trainned and good voice similar to Abhro but Rohit is much much more talented in my opinion. 😆 😆 😆

See u got tanmay in ur list too,.... i told u that before😉.... so we have our three contestants in common.... I m yet to get impressed by smita😛

I find very less similarity between the contestants..
Smita and Sanchita seem to have a similarity in voice(may be cuz of the huskiness in their voices), but I feel Sanchita sings less in falsetto compared to Smita and even her singing(gayaki) is better than Smita.
Aamir and Samir have a similarity in their attitude but singing-wise they are different..both have different positive and negative points..
Pawni and Anamika cannot be compared at all. Pawni had a very powerful voice whereas Anamika's voice is more melodious. (and Pawni didn't have a diction problem
😆 )

Smita is so much like Sanchita - very consistent, great range of voice, and gets in that occassional huskiness to the songs when required....

Anamika - very much like Pawni... Has a sweeter voice than Smita (that Pawni had over Sanchita), very clean singing and yet very very powerful...

Aamir - too much of an attitude for his age, just like Sameer had... I think, he needs to take early corrective steps, else that may overshadow his talent!

I do not find Rohit similar to Abhro... I think, both have very different voice textures and styles of singing.. being classically trained may not mean that we can put them in the same bracket.... Though we are yet to see more of Rohit, I am mighty impressed with the guy... but he is yet to reach where Abhro was last year...

Yes Vaishali and Gurpreet are both cute kids, but I think I find Vaishali more demanding than Gurpreet.. Ofcourse Gurpreet's mom made up for it last season... Singing wise, I thought Loria's style of singing is more closer to Gurpreet though...

There are a few other similarities that I find between these kids and some others...

E.g. - Sagar reminds me very much of Jugal Hansraj of Masoom.. may be its all in his eyes...

Tanmay Totaram reminds me of the guy that comes in the Horlicks Ad... too cute and adorable...

Anamika & Smita are like Sanchita in the sense that they have the matured kind of voice. Anamika has the consistency like Sanchita had but i feel Anamika has a better diction than either Sanchita or Smita.

Vaishali straight away reminds me of Gurpreet.

Loria...does not remind me of any one like that she is the first of her kind.

Rohit , Amir reminds me of Abhrokanti, in the sense of capable of doing classical jugglery.

I have the feeling that overall this season participants are better than the participants from last season.

Whole equation may change if voting introduced...Hope this year they go with judges. Although Rohit Smita and Anamika are front runners Vasundhara may storm to front with a fabulous performance.

Anyway we are going to hear great singing for few weeks.

oh yes! i agree all the way abt these 3 though i feel Aamir is better than Sameer and except for the attitude no comparisons at all

and yes agree with Adi too that Vaishali is quite similar to Gurpreet

though i dont feel anyone from the current lot is like Abhro or Shraddha (maybe Loria a li'l bit)

i feel that the participants last year were better ... these kids seem more laidback and easy going and somehow seem raw like they cud do with more training... the kids last year were quite serious abt the whole show i thought ...

So our similar liking for contestants continues here as well.😃.. I just hope that they have better fates this time...

I think so too... I thought Abhro was way too good 👏

Ditto - I also think that overall the participants last year seemed more prepared and polished... The combined talent of Abhro, Sanchita, Pawni, Shraddha and Neha was just too good.... I do think that this year we have quite a few talented kids too, and I am positively looking fwd to hear good things from them 😊

I just hope that with so much of emerging talent among kids, the film-makers will try to include kids' songs in films. There are so few of them these days. No one makes songs like "Lakdi ki kaati" or "Naani teri morni ko mor le gayi".

Good idea. It is another story that these kids are singing songs meant for matured voices and they are more comfortable singing those songs. Aditya himself has sung some well noted kiddy songs. Last week's theme was quite enjoyable because it had some kiddy style songs.

Agree - I think thats why we found that episode as the best one.. the kids were singing songs that suits them... Frankly, I find it quite disturbing when kids sing some of today's compositions that have all sorts of words and interpretations!

Kids songs have become such a rarety these days... I dont even remember a single kids song composed whole of this year so far..... Eagerly awaiting 'Taare Zameen Par'
