Sonu, the saviour

saving grace: Sonu Niigaam

When India was battling it out with Australia for the T20 match, and everyone was glued to the tube, some 25,000-odd hardcore fans were grooving to a Sonu Niigaam concert in Vashi for a Durga pooja celebration. Sonu played for three hours but his fans still wanted more. One girl even started to run behind the singer's car and though he saw her from his rear-view mirror, the singer didn't stop, until the crazy girl fan was hit by a passing cycle and was injured. Sonu stepped out of his car and took the girl to the nearest hospital and waited till her family showed up. And no prizes for guessing the girl was obliged with a photo and an autograph too.

I would like to get hit by a bicycle too. 😛 😛

Sonu is has an amazing power when he is on stage. He can just put all his audience to a state of trance. I have watched 4 of his live shows at different stages of his career, but I was never satisfied. I always wanted him to sing more.

I am a concert crazy person and I have been to countless concerts. According to me he is the best entertainer in live shows.

I agree he is the best entertainer.... I am concert person too... I love live music with live band.... i have been to two of his concerts, one in open air on Gateway of India in mumbai and one in a hall in bangkok.... and yes i too wanted to hear more of him.... too bad i cd not dance to his singing😃

Appa Sonuji will not stop for those hit by bicycles. 😆

Also in a big crowd no one can cycle, unless someone carries the bicycle and hits you with it. I suggest a racing bike as it is lighter and there will be no pain. So all you got to do is roll on the ground 3 times.😆

i agree he is the best performer i have seen, when i was at his concert in NY i didn't want it to end he is simpy mindblowing 👏
