I too concur with most here. The songs of this movie are not bad. But yes they are not of the same standard as we get in Bhansali's films.

Maybe Bhansali should seriously now think of some other MD. If he has problems with ID how about him roping in Shantanu. Or SEL!!! They too are really good ones when it comes to giving melody numbers, which is the major plus point of Bhansali Mivies.

It will be the other way around. Ranbir Got the chopra in his hand now. they have offered him atleast 5 movies right now and other projects too. Sonam None expect a Small role in Happy Birthday. Lets wait till the movie comes out.

I agree with people here that ID should have been the MD. Only Saawariya,Yoon S. Maasha-Allah,Chel CHabeela,Jab se tere naina are good. rest arent even worth listenting to them. I wish ID was the MD of this movie. he would have taken the movie to new level of music. however, these days people like to hear Disco.rock style music. So that's what you get in OSO. even OSO is not that great. Johhny Gaddar has terrilbe music by SEL. No Smoking has similar tunes like omkara.

The chopras dun make a actor....talent makes an actor....i think both ranbir n sonam will make their marks just becaus they are excellent actors......nevertheless how big or small their movies are, if they are gud they will defo make it big

these were all big movies by yash raj prod. but were flop....

Srk's chak de india was a small movie with yash raj with only him as the lead by ab tak chappan director but it was a hit....

I wldn't like to comment on Ranbir/sonam's probable success or their acting at this stage.I wld like to reserve my comments for later...ie,after watching the movie.

As for the music,it sounds good,certainly better than the music being dished out by most of today's MDs..But,I had higher expectations from an SLB movie.SLB and ID used to work magic together.Each and every song in HDDCS and Devdas is a masterpiece and can be listened to time and again.When I heard the songs for the first time,I never felt that the songs were getting repetitive.They all sounded different and gr8.

Sorry that the same can't be said of Saawariya's music.The title song has a fresh feel to it.Thode Badmaash sounds gr8.Chabeela,jab se tere naina and masha allah sound ok.The rest are forgettable and are basically a rehash of these songs.Some types of music grow on me as I listen to them again and again.But I doubt this will ever grow on me!!

I think SLB has gone a tad too far here.I don't think MS is even a patch on ID..His songs sound similar to ID songs,but are not that good.He sounds like poor man's ID

i like most of the songs from the album...they sound melodius and different from other songs 😃

not only did SLB go wrong in the selection of MD..his picturisation is dischordant too..'jabse tere naina mere nainon se laage re"is a tender and soft song..ranbir's over the top exuberance and peep show just doesnt gel...

does this artificial looking town/city have any other human beings? Is the heroine mute(doesnt talk or sing)..

Is it only me or does the movie trailers in blue and black and heroine floating around and emerging from shadows remind you of some clothing/fabric/fashion/towel commercial..vimal/siyaram/bombay dyeing.....

The thing I love the most about the soundtrack is the orchestration. Monty has blended instruments like veena, sitar and santoor seamlessly with the percussions. The melodies could've been better but I still throughly enjoy the music because I find it really soulful.

Call me cheesy, but I am desperately awaiting the movie's release. 😳 The tracks are very melodious in my opinion. Yoon Shabnami and the title track are my favorites. I think the movie will do well, curiosity is a strong force. But I have my fingers crossed, hopefully it won't disappoint.
