(aneek wasnt the only one tested with gurus in the bengal SRGMP). it wasnt decided by voting too.. second of all 'Tujhse Naraj Nehin' wasnt an easy song..tell aneek to sing that song in his not unique voice and we'll see whoz better.. n amanat wasnt appealing for votes by telling he was away from home-someone stupid wod feel bad for him because of that.. he had his own choice to come here- it wasnt a cheap manuever.. so amanat haters, face it.. hez the best and ur dumb reasons for hating on him are baseless.. okay aneek won the competition- good for him.. but we'll see who makes it big in bollywood

Amanat is still young and is up and coming and I believe in Pakistan there are less opportunities. If Sonu needed 7 years before he got a break what can we say about the others. Amanat entering the competition was the right move and he is already getting some opportunities and movie breaks. But basically my thinking is that there are several good singers both in India and Pakistan but not everyone has the destiny to make it big, or their break comes sooner or later.

in pakistan, singers dont get that famous.. they release an album, have a few local concerts, and are dead after that.. maybe thats y amanat cant make it in his own country and came to india because of the better opportunities there... on SRGMP famous people recognized his singing and amanat got many offers.. get the point here now?

Amanat is a talented singer and he deserves the best. Personally I think he
lost because he was in Yalgaar gharana..Debojit won in 2005 and I am sure
it would have been made sure that the same gharana didn't get the victory
again ... especially since it was against HR both times

So HR threatened to join Indian Idol if he did not win this time?😆

I wonder if all 3 contestants knew before hand who the winner was going to be, because they had discussed the terms of the contract. Wonder if Debu benefitted by winning the contest, well at he gets a job that he likes and whether he makes it big will depend on his luck and efforts. Now that he is going to host a show it is pretty good. Wonder why they did not ask him to host SRGMP.😊

he HAS expressionS OK! obviosly no matter how hard he tries u'll never see it cuz u just dont like him, but for us amanat fans, they can melt our hearts😳

n about his songs reachin our heart...thats ur oppinion. say that his songs dont reach UR hear, because as far as i'm concerned like the rest of amanat fans...his songs do reach my heart. e.g tujhse naraz nahi.

and also about originality - he is the only singer who wasn't compared wiv any other singer.

raja - sukhwinder

aneek- sonu (sumtimes even vinit!)

by all means i'm deffo not sayin that aneek n raja aint good, but when u say that he aint original or his songs dont touch our heart, wats the point!?

AND HE DEFFINATELY DOESNT HAVE A BIG EGO!!!!

even when he came 3rd, he was thankin all the people who voted for him n he was really happy for annek n raja. he even gave his watch to ID to show respect!

how the hell can u say that?!😡

and about him not bein experienced, we all know whos more experience among the three finalist. because hes the most versitile singer and can sing sufis and gazals(which needs a lot of experience to sing)very well e.g albela sajan😡

well said ellen4eva...!!😃

It is great to know that there are so many Amanat supporters and lovers. 😉 Hope the Music Directors give him more opportunities too.
Bappida's beta Bappa has 'HAND PICKED" him after an intensive search. Now if there are so many talents ( all over India and Pakistan )easily available why is it that at last they found him? The mysterious, mellow and melancholy voice. Even ID the great, said Amanat knows more about music than himself. We could go on, but He is fabulous. 👏 👏

The EMAKT was a disaster too. So this is the best I have seen.😆 Or maybe the standard dropped because people like us vote indiscriminately.😕

thanks a406a4.. that's exactly what i was trying to say. who can forget parthiv or mohd. vakil? i still cherish their singing and hope to see someone raising that bar someday... 😊

summerji, imo, the standard dropped cos ppl started voting. period. 😆

Vsakhi,

We staying here in overseas countries talk a lot but are not able to feel the pulse of India and Pakistan, especially its music and culture. Several classical pieces will bore us and we label it as being archaic or out of date. There are several talents out there in music and many will basically perish unheard and unappreciated because of one reason or other, blame it on fate or poverty or lack of opportunity. A lot of luck and financial capacity and connections are needed and even during the early stages of the competition we see several eliminated like flies. But hopefully a handful will always never give up. 😆
