well most of them are from US and other countries. also i dont enjoy the BS drama either. im fed up with it.🤢. but it's also wrong to call the people C-grade who enjoy it. 😊 i noticed some comments while back. that's like butchring someone's personal feelings on something. why doesnt sumedha not come-up and say it straightforward that she objects to the BSlovstory.

In my opinion, even if we assume that Sumedha is a baraabar ki hissedaar in all this (which probably isn't true since she expressed her disapproval), it still should be protested against because it is sleazy and appears to be harassment. That's not the purpose of SRGMP. Remember what this show used to be about...discovering new singing talents. Why should we just sit back while a wholesome family show becomes something disturbing?

Everyone thinks its so easy for Sumedha to object to all this love story crap, but maybe she does not know what to do. Maybe thats why she staying silant. Maybe she scared to object because they might try to kick her off the program. Plus Amanat tried to object and nothing happened - maybe she thinks it is pointless or that the stupid drama will just disappear.

Creating drama for TRP's is one thing but spreading lies and causing stress for someone is wrong. Look what is happening people are accusing Sumedha that she is enjoying this- her reputation is already tarnished.

HR is exploiting Sumedha because of her looks. He has taken the spotlight away from Sumedha, the aspiring singer, and put it squarely on Sumedha, the helpless object of male affection. With Poonam, he makes a point of overemphasizing that she is a good person, rather than a good singer. This contest is very biased against girls. Only girls can win when they are competing as a child or as part of a male-female duet, but if they are competing as a young woman, then they are treated differently - they are told to behave a certain way, for example have better "body language" (2005), or to pretend to have some romance with the male contestants against the female contestant's own wishes (2007). It's already bad enough that girls don't get the voting turnout that the guys do, and if challenge 2005 trend continues in 2007, then girls will be irrelevant as far as the finals go. If again there are no girls in the final 2, I think male and female titles should once and for all be separated into two competitions. If they want to keep this as a "singing" competition, rather than a popularity contest, then male and female voices are like apples and oranges and should be judged separately.

I think for all those people we should politely tell them that this is not the thread for them. You might want to add in your original post that detractors can go elsewere and that we need supporters only. There are lots of other threads where people are already linking Sumedha with Aditya, Amanat, Aneek etc., that these people can go to.

Whether people like it as masala/drama or fed up with it, the baseline point for me is that, its so stupid to watch this in front of kids and I myself would want to enjoy this as a plain talent hunt show.

I mentioned this in Anu's thread that has been made sticky. Please link this thread with the petition and not that thread. People are not gonna duplicate their views in another thread. This one already has so much discussion going on.

We are talking of the dignity of girl child on a national level.This sort of gimmick just humiliates the girls.
One wonders why some women's NGOs have not come out strongly against this charade.

what seems like juicy mirch masala wala gossip to you is actually about someones daughter , sister or friend. Just put yourself in their shoes once and see, if you would have enjoyed someone else having a good time at your discomfort.
