What is your opinion on this week's show - Page 2

HR is a clown and the problem is he does not realize that.
I was just wondering how would be a saregamapa show if there are only two judges and they are HIMESH and ABHIJIT. 😆

i was disappointed.
Mostly, all sang well, but gaah.. songs were not challenging at all.
never to mention HR drama.
it was a yawnnnn eppy for me. sowwy!

Raja, Poonam - 10/10 - perfect

Amanat, Aneek - 9/10 - good work

Sumedha - 8/10 - needs to work harder on maintaining sur

Mussarat - 7/10 - better than Signal, but still not good enough

Amanat - 10 [Brilliant! a very enjoyable performance]

Poonam - 9 [liked this performance too, but could have been better]

Aneek - 9.5 [very good performance, but somehow cudn't connect to the song]

Sumedha - 10 [awesome, sang wid the feel required]

Raja - 10 [superb! luved his performance!]

Mussarat - 9 [very good, sad he got eliminated today!]

I agree with the marks, so little point in giving a separate set of opinions. I will analyze the singers though.

Best Poonam followed by Raja. For the reason, both really got into the mood of their songs. Poonam played a little shrewd today, Shamshad Begum is an easier task than Lata/Asha. But I give her credit that whatever she did she did it well.

Raja - after a long time I enjoyed Raja once more, although he did go off at places. But he too captured the mood v well. This is a classic example of how Raja gets himself and his audience so much involved that technical shortcomings seem minor and inconsequestial. Also remember he was singing out of his regular genres.

Aneek - like VS said needs to work on expressions, although technically perfect. Why did he chose Rafi, it is almost impossible to replicate Rafi's expressions. He would have ben better off with Manna de.

Amanat - same prblem as Aneek. There are plenty of Mehdi Hassan ghazals picturized in the BW era that would suit his voice such as nawazish karam.

Musarrat - pathetic singing. No use flogging a dead horse.

MEntors - ID is the only sensible guy left. No matter how erratic his mentometer is, ID has NEVER attacked any contestant. No wonder his gharana is voted tops.

Poonam - proud to see her in top 2.

Fridays's episode..
The drama on the show is eclipsing some of the excellent performances.

Absolutely loved Poonam's performance. She showed her acting skills and at the same time modulated Shamshaad Begum's voice perfectly. I would say she can be a good actress. Very natural, too cute..10+

Sumedha has been very relaxed while singing and seems to be enjoying each of her performances.As Bappi da said slow and steady wins the race.She has not been hyped much but is there in top 5. All credit goes to her.10

Raja showed why he is the King when it come to making connection with the public. He did a brilliant job despite of being in bottom two with all the stress. He makes each and every song of his very enjoyable. His total impact has been perfect almost all the time with rare exceptions.He takes song to a different level which makes him unique.10

Aneek gave a very good performance. I am afraid his mentor is unwittingly messing up things for him. Amanat also was very good. 9+ each

Mussarat is a champion singer in his genre. He is a class apart from every body else.I think Himesh did well to bring out his strength of singing sufi songs.He is going to be a name to reckon with in his genre provided he gets some support and luck. He is a legend in the making....I would hate to rate him in his out of genre songs..Great to have a singer like him on this show..

Here is my input about Friday's episode

The Black and White era and the costumes rocked!! 👏 👏

Its going to be heartwrenching no matter who goes.... Mussarat this time 😭 😭

HR: 😡

Amanat: No.1 position.... yeah!! 👏 Ude jab jab zulfi teri was a superb performance 👏 I love the change in him from being serious to singing lighter nos. and winning the audience with his smile and performance. No doubt he is one of the best singers. 10/10

Poonam: Mere Piya Gaye Rangoom.... wow! She was real good and loved her mannerism of trying to be a lady from that era. 10/10

Aneek: Tumsa Nahi Dekha.... one of my favs. 😳 He sang very well but for me the smoothness of Rafisaab was lacking. 8.5/10

Sumedha: Aaiye Maherebaan..... again one of my fav. songs 😳 Sumedha looked absolutely gorgeous and she sang very well. As the mentors pointed out her antra was great. Her mukhda didnot come that close to the original but great effort. Her singing always comes out so flawless. 09/10

Raja: Hum thee woh thii. Superb. Mindblowing. The stress showed on his face from being in the bottom two. 10/10

Mussarat: Ankho hi Ankho mei. I donot know why people didnot think he did not sing well. I think he was the best after Raja. His voice has that mellow Rafisaab touch than Aneek. He proved that he can sing all kinds of songs as was acknowledged by Vishal. He gets 10/10 from me.

Besides HR, I didnot like IDs comment that Poonam was better than Amanat last week. Whats up with these mentors? I also feel now the pool of contestents is small, the mentors will turn to each other. Shish.... HR was pathetic.

Loved this episode very much. Even my bhai watched it.... he said the kids did good. 😆 He listens to these songs all the time.

The contestents are showing good spirit 👏 👏 Mussarat was very gracious. All the best to him. 👍🏼

Friday's episode:

Amanat - Good but could hv been better. 9.5/10

Poonam - She was clever in her song choice and she knew the only thing critically required for the song was voice modulation which she is good at. 10/10

Aneek - Was off at some points but still singing a Rafi's song fairly well, he gets 9.5/10

Sumedha - Again the song she choose was not easy to get away with and she did a good job. Her voice was sounding so good for the song, she surely deserves 10/10.

Raja - This guy again proved his superb skill for connecting with the audience. Captured the spirit of the song, so deserves 10/10.

Mussarat - His usual flaws while singing a simple song again showed up, but this time I felt he was better than his previous renditions of plain/simple songs. I also felt a tinge of innocence in his voice which was well-suited for the song. 9/10

Well, I will talk about Friday episode. You guys might have noticed it too but no one brought it up.

When last twowere on stage and they asked Raja to go first. He sang, I could not understand it was a song or a speach since no sure was involved in it but anyhow, every one came on stage like its the end of the show and the JUDGES has decided that he is gonna stay. Well, people, let Mussarrat sing to and then give us vote details...

Nope it did not happen and everyone was singing with Raja and poor Mussarrat was forced to accept his defeat before the vote announcement.

So, what do you figure out by this, do your votes are being counted or even considered, NOPE. Its all judges who are deciding based on ......... I really don't know based on what.

PS: I saw in dream that Mussarrat is given another chance to stay in the show by performing once more. By God, its not a joke.
