I would say a solid vote bank, and some ability to sing in sur at tleast some of the time.

But this vote bank business is destroying the excitement of reality shows. In the recent II3 quarterfinals everyone knew, including Emon, that he would be voted out irrespective of present and past performances. The kolkata vote was no match for Prashant and Amit vote banks. It doesn't get more pathetic than that.

Same with C07. The moment Aneek joined the finalists, even before he opened his mouth, I knew the winner had to be him or Joy.
