The ones who have been declared favourites and they are in the spotlight for reasons that are musical and non musical, they are lucky. All the hype created by Zee and the mentors and the public is going to make them big.
But is this at the cost of somebody else's confidence? Look at Harpreet today, he was broken as a singer. No confidence, he looked so dejected, so lost. Even before the results were announced, the mentors made it seem like he deserved to be out. It was heart breaking when he said that he always hoped to be in the top 3 and used to even kid about it knowing he never would be.
I guess I don't like the fact that all this hype is crushing singers who are great. It's making them hang their head down in shame for no reason. I didnt realise how much it can affect a person till I saw how upset Harpreet was. I hope they tone down all this hype at least when somebody's morale is at stake.
