These judges are generous to say the least when it comes to giving points.
People may beg to differ, but I personally like their frame of mind. I mean when the competition is based on public voting why dampen their spirits? I thought Bappida was being overly critical in judging Harpreet and Mussarat.
If the performance is really that off than ofcourse subtract points as needed but why nit-pick at a few mistakes here and there?

If they have to be austere and strict than all the judges should agree to doing so together. Or else it would be unfair and would throw the public off. That way Josh and Hit It contestants will probably have higher marks than the others an unfair advantage.

What do you guys think should the judges be that austere and critical?

Megha, if it has no point & value then may be points should not be given my mentor at all.. but in my opinion if you are there as an expert and you are supposed to give your view it should be just from your expertise not anything else at all. If you are not giving your view according to your expertise then people may lose trust on you. Think about teacher if they give you easy marking all the time as you have to pass final anyway will you ever learn? Will you like to have that teacher?

I've noticed something...

When Bappis contestants preforme, Himesh doesnt show any facial expressions or appears to enjoy their preformace but he still gives them 10!
Same thing happenes with Vishal & Shekhar.

When it comes to Ismails contestants he gets mast in the song and bobbles his head along.

I guess they have a close relationship between each other 😊 .

I agree that both Himesh n Ismail giv fair points 👏 .....n i think Ismail made a good point about cutting marks bcuz of a minor mistake 😕 ...all the contestants make lil mistakes at one tym or another 😳 ...Bhappi should of given Mussarat 10marks bcuz he totally deserved it....he took one point away 4 no real reason...he didnt mess up at any point in the song....so i hav no idea y he didn't give full marks 😡 🤢 ...

Yeah I totally agree. If everyone prefers them to be austere and use their expertise... than why shouldn't the same be applied to everyone? Why the bias?

The teacher analogy you made and my answer. No I would not want that teacher. But if I had a panel of teachers and some always gave me good marks and others were being strict. Then I wouldn't know who to believe and my overall impression would be that I'm being misguided.

The same way if Bappida and VS are strict and ID and HR are leniant than ofcourse the probability of Josh and Hit It getting higher marks than the others is unfairly greater. The same way the public would be misguided into basing their opinions on the views of selected judges.

I agree with you what you said.. so people who are lacking in their responsibilities need to get back... I don't agree that other has to follow wrong path..I think point system should be according to talent...janata ko bhi samajh aata hai..I agree one time they can fool us as we trust their judgement thinking they are expert but not always.. in the end they do lose their trust and people do not get misguided by them as they know their points have no value...

What i feel is this india vs pakistani stuff is more of the political and media thing which these corrupt netas and greedy media people keep encouraging to serve their own selfish interests and thus play with emotions of aam aadmi and making a fool out of him, aam aadmi who is a good human being first. A person who is equally empathetic and compassionate to all other human beings. Moreover being an indian or pakistani never comes to thought once you end up so far from your own land and people......you feel so connected to every south asian as a matter of fact.
