We Indian public have such great understanding of music and its subtle nuances..sur,taal ki samjh kitni hain hum sabko, is evident since Indian Idol 1 when this public voting craze started..Rahul Saxena voted out early, SRGMP Challenge 2005 Nihira out early and I can go on and on..to II3 Charu, Smita out early..today in AS-VOI Abhaash in bottom 4!!!😕

But all the disappointment was simply washed away when Amanat sang the first note of Jhonka hawa ka...what a soul touching performance..n I guess he'll be in bottom 3 next week cuz he doesn't dance n show "attitude" of a "rockstar"!!!

excellent post.. would like to differ with you on the charu bit.. both charu and smita were just ok.. but you are totally rite about amaanat in the bottom only cuz he doesnt end every note with "oooh" and "aaah"

I know Charu n Smita weren't the best..I was just listing some of the low profile/"non-rockstar" singers of these contests 😛...cuz they or any other singer don't do the "ooh" and "aah" 😉 and hence they have higher chances of getting eliminated

I am sure internet users are probably 1% (thousands) of the total votes (Lakh's). What we think is another matter? Also, majority of the people who vote don't have enough knoweldge of singing. Sometimes we don't agree with truth. I doubt zee is playing with votes. I am sure gurus are on top of voting process. I am raja & aneek's fan (not mauli's fan). Sorry! if you don't like my explanation. Reality shows are just like sport games, sometimes your team loses. Just deal with it.
