poonam's screw up - Page 3

well she still did full justice to the song 😊 as this song is quite hard to sing

but still i didn't got that original feel that KK has given to this song😕

I thought Poonam sang well yesterday.. yes she had a false start.. but as some members said, that she had the knowledge that she made a false start and she stopped...

She sang well after that.. I liked her performance just next to Sumedha yesterday.. She was lot better than a few others who got complete uncalled for 10s from the judes.. and that is not just Mauli, even Raja and Harpreet did not deserve the 10s that they got yesterday!

I don't think Poonam screwed up... I think she sang quite well actually

i dunt think she screwed up at all she sang the song very well giv her sum credit the song is way to hard thats why ismail ji said he wuld nevr giv the song to anyone but he had full confidence on her. her voice is terrific and she sang it very well!

yeah wen she skrewed up it was really noticable...i shut my ears cuz i cudnt believe wat i was hearing from her...

den all of a sudden she stopped...and i was like omggggggg noo wayyy...but den wen she started off again...from the begining till the end she sang it flawlesslyyy!! it was just mind blowing...i got tears in my eyes by the end of it...

her small skrew up in the begining is nothing compared to the final piece she sang....and im glad she stopped once she skrewed up...it shows that she knew she messed up... 👏

I feel Poonam should be credited even for attempting that song. First of all because it's such a difficult composition and secondly it's impossible high scale that literally touches the sky! Girls who are learning singing would also agree with me that this song is particularly difficult for the female singer for its almost unreachable high scale that may often causes breaking of our vocal cod if not trained well. Thirdly KK sang that song in the studio with several takes and he also had a headphone on his ears so he could match its tempo very well. Whereas Poonam had to finish the song in one take and without the support of the headphone, people do you not think that she already proved herself a singer of A class. Finally, I still loved the original composition but when KK was requested to sing the song live in Birmingham he made some adjustments in the composition to be able to sing the song without any difficulties. As a singer I wouldn't dare to sing that song on stage especially in front 'Sangeet Maharathi' and the person who composed it and I can't think of any other female contestant doing a better justice to the song than what Poonam has done! 👏

couln't agree more! but surprised to see Mauli fan talking about a singer for the first time! because normally they are quite busy bragging about her extraordinary talent she exposed singing Maiyya Maiyya. But it was a pleasant surprise! 😆 😆 😆

This song can be classified as one of the classics of this era...hats off to ID...BUT sadly I did not get the feeing of the song by Poonam as expected..she just sang for the sake of singing it perhaps because she was not fully prepared or comfortable with the song.. some lines including the intro (Bejaan dil..) was flat on the lower notes...but she was well defended by her guru ID...this is one song i give thumbs down to Poonam..
