Do any old-timers remember Amanat's dad and uncle performing in SRGM in New York in 1999, that they showed in the India episode? I wasn't an avid follower back then, so I don't remember. Any info would be welcome.

I have always watched the shows regularly, except for a gap in 1999 - 2000 when I first left India and came to Dubai. I did not have zee on my cable then.

So have not watched this series, sorry.

i dun remember but my dad doess..
he told me abt sharafat ali n nazakat ali.. he said they were both gr888 singers...i'll try to find out some videosss...

yeah i know abt amanat,s dad and his uncle...one of my frd had all of their videos...that was the show hosted by sonu nigam in NY...i do have all the episodes but dont know how to convert them on a cd:(...coz those are on video cassettes...

I was in college then and we didn't have cable television in our hostels ...

These singers raised the In Interest of some of us after watching Amanat.
Would it be too much if I may suggest to get the Video tape converted from a store that deals with Video making.

Even after that you may have to put the contents ( *VOB ) on your hard drive - Convert it into AVI or WMI format - Split the video's into clips ( Allok's Video splitter is good ) and then post them on Megauploads etc and post the Links here.

Sounds like Too much work but It will make a lot of peole happy. Thanks
