I think Mauli did perform quite badly last week, esp Soniye. Asha Bhosle did mention that she is more of an "Item Number" singer, and if she excels in that, she should continue. I feel she would have been eliminated, had it not been for HR's intervention.

Himani, Vineet, Sanchita (to name a few) are very versatile singers. Generally speaking, winners of such contests should be able to sing every kind of genre. So I think Mauli won't be in the top 3. However, she obviously will have a very successful career in entertainment, seeing as all the judges are her fans!

When Mauli sang "Rasiya" song with Asha, Bhappi Da said in future I will choose your songs and tell you what to sing that is the reason Himesh blamed Bappi Lahiri for choosing wrong songs for Mauli. Himesh clearly said your wrong choice would have cost Mauli her spot on Sa re ga ma pa that is why he wanted jugdes to see her talent (phlease don't tell me she doesn't have any)..

Mauli's Rasiya song was very good. Nusurat sings only Qawaali and he is very popular..if you are very good in any style it works..
