Hmmm...did Panchamda realy scream in Mehbooba? I feel he changed his voice to sound more gruff and raw...but yet he was totally in tune as he sang the whole song. In his times he was one of the most creative Music Directors. Love his compositions! No one compares...

So why do you expect Asha ji to sing it like a melody? She will sing the song like it's supposed to be sung - with the crude attitude or whatever. I think, of all the 3 singers who have sung this song - Asha ji has done it best. It may not be Asha ji at her best, but she has done justice to how the song was supposed to be sung - keeping in mind that it's a modern day remix.
