I have read all your views about howling and shouting but still not gathered the guts to hear the SONG. 😆 Someday, some contestant might sing it on SRGMP and then I would be forced to hear it.

Now, let me seriously think whether RD shouted or not in Mehbooba. That OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO could be callled loud singing by some, shouting by others, but for God's sake, as long as it is pleasant to hear, who cares what it is? It casts a spell on the listener - apart from the rawness that Apparao mentioned very aptly, it is actually quite sensual too. It must be absolutely the best song sung by RD. Whoever had not noticed his unconventional voice before would have sat up with a jolt.

I vaguely remember that this song is copied from somewhere, but knowing RD, he would have added so much creativity to it that the original composer might be kicking himself for not making it in RD's way.

OK, I finally heard the SONG. What an anticlimax! I thought I would hear some howling, but all that I heard was a medley of noises of which the most irritating was the one which kept muttering "E Saala" and other nonsense. Asha's singing was the 2nd most irritating ingredient - her voice is completely gone now - even past the burial stage! How could she be part of this preposterous noise-mixing?

I think once you get over the initial shock of Himesh's ooooo's, you can begin to enjoy the song. Asha ji has done a fabulous job - even better than RD Burman, in my opinion. 👏

OMG...dey even made a remix?? wasnt one enuf..? now i cant listen 2 dis, my mom will get d belan out if i play dis song once more even..😆
