At least HMV is socially responsible and did not ignore the fact South exists ,like some of the channels (star)and others who eliminated South zone completley and are further deepening the divide.Ofcorse the credit goes to Rehman the genius he is otherwise I am sure this would not have happened.
Some of the channels go International as if to prove music has no boundries and the world is one happy place. But sure in our own country they convienently ignore that there are other STATES in INDIA. They are being irresponsible .You want to hurt the sentiments of people in your own backyard and try to please other countries.
I have been reading about this topic in the forum and i just wanted to air my feelings and share my thoughts with people who feel the same way and bring an awareness among others as to how the channels are only interested in TRPs and are socially irresponsible. This is not to create any stir.It is a fact and I hope some of the channels take cognizance .

I partially agree with you..or should I say that I do agree but also feel the its also responsibility of the people from south india too..reason being when we see some young/good singers in these comptitions when the voting process comes we see that they are not getiing enough votes and its partly if not fully that they are not getting enough votes from there home state..atleast thats what the no.reflects...

Cool... I'd read about the show in an interview or two of ARR's. It's a great way to search for and recognize talent, esp in the southern states. The show sounds a bit unique as well since it's asking the contestants to compose tunes. Hope to see and hear good things as a result. 😊
