When I decided to participate in this contest I thought it would be over in 3-4 months, lekin aaisa lag to nahi raha hain ab 😃 Well, I will have to figure out something as I may be travelling to Mumbai in early June. 😃

Me, as a member who has been following the show- my two cents.

The rounds are their themes are already known, isn't it possible the participants sit down with their respective mentors, select the song for each round, practice,perfect and record them all in a sitting and give it to the mentors for feedbacks.Once, that is okayed , make the final recording and forward the songs to the mentors who then keep them in safe deposit until the due submission dates. Then, if one has to go somewhere or has an exam or is unwell, or has some other software problem, he or she does not have to struggle at the last minute. this way you can get more time to practice also..and if you feel you can improve upon what you already gave your mentors after the final take, then by every means do so..but atleast, last minute hurdles then can be resolved if youre mentors already have the songs recorded and given to them in advance.

I am confused 😕, did I miss some important post from Bhaskar? dolly, can you clarify what big responsibility you are referring to?

Partially agree with you Adi. Some rounds are very different, I mean you don't sing some kind of songs everyday (atleast in my case 😃). So if you know the song it may be easy but in some cases you have to choose a song, listen to it several times & learn the song. I feel the more you hear & get familiar to a song it gets easier to sing it. So recording all songs in one go may not be feasible and ofcourse there is a chance of elimination so ...😆

However, I have been planning & recording for 1 round ahead so far. I will keep doing that as I do not like last minute hurdles. And I completely agree that we all need to take efforts to avoid last minute problems. That will also help save time.

this round will be a challenge cuz background music is integral to disco/fast numbers...may sound very bare without it

That's so true, it'll be hard not to hum the background music when singing!

Can i please know tht how many contestants will be choosen to enter back into the competition in the 'wild card' round? 😊

Saara - In the designated wild card round, only one contestant will enter back into the competition, this will be just before the semi-finals. However, now the contest also has the wild card challenge. So, if you wish u can attempt an entry back in any round (starting this one), and if you can displace one of the contestants already in the competition, u stay back.. Of course you can get eliminated in any of the following rounds, and after which you will not be able to participate in the designated wild card round.. So, its upto you and your mentor where you want to use your card.. Let me know if this clarifies. Check the mentor's thread - this is explained very well there. You can always PM me in any case. 😊
