Well,, u might not know me I came in as a new user wen u were gone for a while...... and not everyone knows me very well ................ I really luv ur updates they r just fantastic........ I really want to know ur fav singers in the shooo plez write back priti and tell me ur favs as many u want....... My favs are : (males) : Vishwas, Vinit , Irfan and Sharib. My favs are : (females): Nihira, Twinkle, Himani and Vineeta.

(So sad 2 of my favs already out ( Vishwas 😭 and vineeta 😭..)

I think Debojit is the most under-rated contestant in this competition. Do you agree Mrs.peacestead???

I would really like to listen to the Bengali song by Debojit. Is there any link where I can listen to the song. I really wish Saregama returns to the old format soon. It was so much more interesting to listen to the regional songs by the performers. It added so much more colour to the show.

sorry sangeetpremi...as this was sung by Debu in the earlier competition, I don't think we can get the link like the above one...

With the bickerings going on between the mentors and substandard judgements provided by judges like Daler and Alka, guess you may be partially right that the competition returns to the old format.

Actually, in the old format, you can see the contestants progressing into the next round with lot more conviction. Also, as you mentioned, since each contestant performs three times in the same day, the judgements is usually fair.

However, the old format may not be much rewarding for the competitors, who normally were given 'gift hampers' from a Jaipan appliances or a mall etc..etc.

Now in the new format, they have more exposure, more hype...more money...more offers to sing....

Perhaps Gajendra Singh may modify the final stages in such a way that in each episode of 1 hour duration, not more than 6 contestants, each contestant gets to sing a film song, a duet and a private (any language) song....In my opinion this would give the judges more room to make their judgment.
