Hey there, I am a new member to this forum!!! Extremely happy now that I can keep myself updated about Sa re ga ma!!! I have a question and would appreciate any help - During the first round, somewhere around the 2nd week of August - I think it was the 3rd set of students to perfom, one of the female contestents performed a very beautiful soft Hindi Song from a latest movie - but unfortunately I dont remember the lyrics or the girl who performed.... Can anyone who keeps track of the program in detail, let me know.... All I remember about the song is - it talks about taking today seriously because we dont know if we will see tomorrow!!!! Please help me out!!!! Thanx!!!!

Hmmm... Watched saregama today and I must say, ID comments did not at all seem offensive to me. There has to be some other "behind the scenes" tension going on between them. Of course, the verbal war probably did escalate after the initial confrontation as shown on tv.
Funny thing is that neither of the 2 guys was Joyeeta's mentor.
ID in the past few episodes had definitely mellowed down hence, I think AS did over-react.

Also, I dont agree with the following comments by AS from the interview:
Pausing to control his temper, the composer continued: "I felt he insulted Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia when he commented about one of his students: Yeh sab ki bansuri bajaa dega (He will best all flautists). Wasn't that a dig at the famous flautist? Ismail is always making such comments.
"His war cry, Yalgaar! (attack) makes him sound like someone from (Pakistan). I told him that. And what are his credentials?

Its just a problem of overinflated egos clashing against each other. Its a shame though that this happened in one of the best rounds ever in this competition...

I totally agree with you riddler100. I don't think ID said anything offensive.

i like adesh, but he did not do good when he said that he only asked shaan to start with ismail for the comments. not adesh but his arrogance was speaking.

I read somewhere that Jatin and lalit have split. Does any one know if it is true? I would not be surprised if they did because of their body language and aloofness toward each other at sa re ga ma pa.
I think all the mentors of sa re ga ma pa have major personal issues to work on.

I just want to know the reason behind Aadesh and Ismail Darbar's
argument. It didn't seem like anything worth fighting about was said -
did I miss somthing? Please explain!!

the clash was mainly an ego clash & nothing else. i donot find ismail durbar's comments offensive, what i feel is that he is definitely blunt, but gives appropriate comments - not like himesh who goes on praising even when not required and jatin lalit keeps digging at pronunciations and small small mistakes. aadesh is the biggest hypocrite of all. in the initial rounds, he was the only one who put thumbs down for vishwaas reason being voice is not good although he sang very well. now when vishwas who is in his gharana is getting green cards directly (twice in a row), he is beaming like anything as if it is he who has brought about the change in vishwas. what double standards. i do not understand it, you can help someone sing better but cannot change the voice definitely. anyways, i mainly watch the programme to hear good singing, that is what is important. let the mentors fight or go to hell, who cares?
