He was not at all like wht ppls say...& see he is the only one who trains his participants very nicely sometimes he uses bad language but its ok ...n thats why his garana is at # 1st in list.

I watched the second group performing on Monday and Tuesday, as we get repeat telecast here in Toronto on these days. For a change I did not come to this forum for almost a week as I did not want to know the results beforehand. And that had its own impact while watching the episodes.

First day Himani and Ujjaini were outstanding and all the three boys were just normal. Vineet was not that great as people have hyped him. But he was better than the two. But if Sharib and Irfan performed the way they did next day Vineet had no chance to get Green, but it is fate! Himani was simply outstanding and I am already waiting for her original songs in movies/albums. But Ujjaini was also very good and she could be a good playback singer too. But Joyitaa was a disappointment. She has too much of "latka jhatka" but her singing is a far cry from the rest of the contestants.

I watched the next round and what a performance by everyone. Though Irfan was good in his singing but I agree by Priti(pmahesh) that "something" is lacking in him which makes his songs not very attractive. I guess he has very flat and different kind of "gala" and he can't change that. But he gives his 100%. But Sharib was outstanding. Only if he sings like that, he will be a great singer. But he need not worry as he belongs to Saabri brothers' family so he is already in music and I don't think that he would prefer playback singing for he has one genre of singing already established for himself through his family name.

What a performance again by Ujjainee! She is becoming one of my favorites now. She sang extremely well. Joyitaa was much better but to me it looks like that somehow it has sunk in her mind that she is already a very great singer or she thinks that she has learnt quite a bit, because she is not improving at all like others. Her pronunciation and landings are very poor. Like she stretches the last word of the song lines too far. I hav noticed the same poblem with Vineet too.

It was clear that Ujaainee and Sharib were going to be in but then AS and ID started fighting. And they could not complete the dual round and so they had to take a decision like that.

Although we were shown only a "sober" part of the fight, one should not derive their conclusions from that. As a matter of fact whatever we get to see, we should not start making an impression of a person based on that alone. There are many behind the scene conversation, which we are not even aware of and sometimes those flare them up. But going by just that statement which ID said, I agree he did not say anything which could offend anyone. There must have been much more than what we got to see.
Anyway, I am not sure what we will see in the next episode.

But Joyitaa and Irfan definitely did not deserve to move on.

No doubt, ID have given honest opinion on every singer and very serious in training his students although he is blunt but that is who it is in India. Adesh comments was wrong about Joyitaa singing the way he said it. All other personnel comments made by him about ID in interview also seem not mature. They should be professionals. I feel sorry for O P Nayer ji. I am doubtful he will come back as a judge. It seemed to me Hamesh, Jatin and lalit were just spectators during all that. Overall I like the old SA RE GA MA PA where singers sing 3 or 4 rounds and then you judge who is better rather than only one song.

I agree with toronto123 on the fact that because of the stupid argument between AS and ID, a second dual round could not occur and the judgement became really tough for Kavitaji and Nayyarsaab. The judges only had one round to judge contestants on, and it was unfair.

I think they should have made a special round or extended the program a bit so a proper and right judgement could be made. It is also unfair to previous participants since many have performed really well and it has been hard for the judges to make a fair judgement.

Ujaainee and Sharib def won and Irfan was also good.

the other day i felt jatin's comment (beggar like singing) for joyeeta is more derogatory than lalit's previous comment of kothewali expression.

in indian cinema the kothewali singing is a part of the film industry, so u need singers who can give the kothewali expression. again lalit was commenting on the expression given and not on her character. and i can understand lalit's anger, because the song was devotional and joyeeta did not do justice by giving it the other expression.

jatin's comment was distateul. to say she sang like someone begging is through and through insulting and i hope some day jatin asks for forgiveness from joyeeta.

Yesterday, i was watching Popcorn on Zoom and they showed the unmusical fight that is happening on saregamapa. Aadesh was asked what he did not like about Ismail and he said that ismail talks to the students very rudely and he also makes false promises to not just his own gharana students but others as well.

Ismail was asked to clarify and he said that he had nothing to prove as everybody can see him and his work (i wonder what he is talking about...he has got two movies which he can talk about...he is forgetting the tera jaddoo kind of debacle..) He said that he can anyday take up baghban and compose for it, but can aadesh do hum dil de chuke sanam...he can work with aadesh's director but can aadesh work with bhansali....
Ismail's whole attitude was that he is far more superior and aadesh can't compete with him...i am wondering that with this kind of attitude how are they going to sit on the same show!!!

Rabba's duo lands up on Challenge sets

The battle intensifies with the second phase of Challenge 2005 coming to an end on Friday, bringing on the third phase from the following week.

In the third phase challenge promises to enthrall the viewers with intense performances, new judges and gripping behind the scene reality footage.

Amid the excitement and pandemonium of the launch of the new phase came a breath of relief in the form of the visit of Veera and Vivaan of Rabba Ishq Na Hove.

Sangeeta and Nikhil visited the gharanas of the contestants and need we say that they hit it off with the contestants right from the word go.

Together they sang, danced and shared many a light moments. Inspite of the new man Kushan (Varun Badola) making a grand entry in Veera's life, she decided to bring her first love (Vivaan) for the tete a tete.

how will the third phase be like?? any idea??

Keka, SanchaLi and Vineeta

Hemachandra, Abhijeet and Paresh

I think Hemachandra and Vineeta might get the green card today....paresh and keka might get eliminated tomorrow. What do u guys think???
