Read my first sentence and that says it all..... charity and noble work doesnt have to be advertized.....🤢 and I do my share but never make a press release of it.. infact even my close friends dont know that.....all my donations are either third person or anonymous...😊

I wouldnt have said this if some famous successful people like Sonu, Sunidhi, Kumar sanu, Udit had made these statements since they dont need anything out of it which they dont have...i hope u get my point... i respect the cause but criticize his approach...

No my dear friend you sarcasm is unfathomable - all i am saying is I am not in favor of any noble work... which has advertisement associated with it... Mother Teresa did it but never was advertised until late and was awarded the noble prize much later... so it aint charity if it aint self-less and anonymous....😊

Doing something good is always better than doing nothing, whatever the motive of doing that something good

If you start from there, it is much easier to put this into perspective.

Celebrities come with a power of fame, if they do a small good, the good is not the important aspect, the amount of attention they bring to the cause is more important, if you bring your personal agenda towards the celebrity in, the cause is often forgotten, and the agenda takes the forefront, It happens with Mother Teresa and it also happens with Debojit(I am only keeping them in the same sentence b'cos you brought up the comparision, although there is none on the magnitude of work or their status).

FYI, Debo had also brought this issue up when in C2005, even then his intent was questioned, I am happy he is following up on that.

Well you and I have been across this fence for Debo ever since, Eggy does not bring much of a difference to it😉, so sleep peacefully, you have to fight your battles with him on your own, I am not going to be the referee or a member to it😆, ah maybe sometimes throw some gasoline on it, if it feels like extinguising😆😆

Yes I sure did read through you post before I wrote that, you know what you prove it again by saying that if some famous successful people like Sonu, Sunidhi, Kumar Sanu, Udit ji had made these statements since they don't. Sure I do get your point all I can say that we people have lot to learn from Debu's cause.

Debu do not need any promo he is very well qualified engineer also a very good singer. Debu keep up the good work and one day you will be rewarded for your cause. Here is a quote from his Interview.

I am also planning to release an album dedicated solely to the aged. In 2007, I shall perform in various concerts where I will focus on the need for "need of love and care" of the elderly. Half the proceeds from my forthcoming concerts will be dedicated for the cause that is close to my heart.

We have a saying when u donate with your right hand your left hand shouldnt know about it.. Any noble work which begins with "I will" is not as noble and simply embarrasses the recepients.....😊 So I would say, like dirty harry - if you wanna do, dont talk, just do it....😊

this brashy well built kid was bragging about his manhood in the entire class ....

finally his school teacher got mad at him and gave him time out .....after all the other students left......😛

next day the kids asked him how did the detention go ?

He was kinda taciturn and somewhat flushed too ..and replied .......Guys I am not gonna tell ..... but it sure pays to advertise your wares..😆

the moral is ....... if Debo is a helpful philanthropist and is offering this info through appropriate media ...... I for one see nothing wrong in doing so in the sole interest of spurring others on to do that and even more.....

Nice to know that qwerts does it almost anonymously.. that is a honorable way to do it ..but debo is a celebrity and has more punch pulling powers to encourage others like me even
