Okay Friends, I think I have kept quiet enough and should have spoken earlier...

Firstly, the idea of presenting the members with the Golden Award itself is a novel idea and very thoughtful of IF management team.I really applaud the Dev team for choosing those members who have REALLY contributed musical articles that makes this section so special ,so attractive and so addictive. We can proudly say there is no bias in the selection and it was quality that won.Each one of these have silently gone about doing their task and made the section rich. All these chosen 5 deserve the award.

Secondly, thank you to those who thought i should have also got.I am sure that is your love talking and appreciate it.But trust me, it has embarrassed me more than it has made me happy.

Practically if you see, the choice could not have been any different. Popularity and masti was not the guideline for selection, it was the contribution in the nmusical field.When contributions in the musical category is checked these people are far far far ahead of me. They are the reason why I come here.To read their articles and hear the downloads. Being put in the same pedestal as Charades, Qwestda, Vinnie,Sur_sangam and musicbug itself is embarrassing - because honestly speaking I cannot look back and see any great contribution in this category that makes me worthy of the award. It would have then become a nach baliye Jassi Vs.Shweta Salve case and we definitely dont want that .Moreover in the masti or funny comment side I can name 30 more members who are ahead of me.So no way could I have got it. So please drop this now.

By bringing in other names after the winners have been declared is like telling the winners they are unworthy of it especially if certain names are excluded, and I on their behalf take strong objection. It also looks like we are questioning the decision of the selection team who took so much of pain to get us the best 5 without bias.It can be quite demeaning to the winners and the selction team as well. We have 5 winners and we should be here celebrating this special moment with them all and not dampening it with such suggestions.

I as a member apologise to those winners who felt disheartened by any such comments .Hope in future we will all restrain ourselves from doing it. Lets appreciate those we got as stars, for they deserve to be appreciated. Had it not been for these people we would not have been doing the masti here or spending so much time here.

Three cheers to SRGMP section , to the winners , to all the members and to the SRGMP DEV team. Great job guys....we all rock !!!!! 👍🏼
