Q: Is Mathematics science or Art in your opinion? It has always been a topic of discussion. Could you take name of some mathematicians and explain brief info about them, who might be a good singer or musician or painter or writer or poet or some kind of artist.
In my opinion, Mathematics is science. Art is generally created to provide aesthetic pleasure, and if not, it has some sort of feel in mind. Basically, art is created. Mathematics is not...it is derived, proved--and yes, there is creativity involved, but the purpose of Math is not to create something beautiful (although there are patterns in Mathematics, like in Art, the purpose of finding these patterns in different in Mathematics) but to search for answers and relay the truth--be it in the form of numbers.
Here are the mathematicians I can think of:
G.H Hardy-- Hardy was a Number Theorist who lived during the 1900s. He was actually the one who helped Ramanujan go to England and do mathematics there. Hardy has written a book, A Mathematician's Apology. It is about Mathematics mainly-it gives the reader a look into the mind of a Mathematician. In my opinion, this is a work of literature because it is written really well, and from the heart.
M.C. Escher: Escher is mainly an artist really, but he uses Mathematics in his art. If you don't recognize his name, his paintings will be quite familiar to you (Just look up Reptiles or Waterfall). They look like tricks of the eye, but really they just use principles of geometry.
Leonardo da Vinci: Even though we know him as a painter, during the time he was alive, he was known as a Mathematician. Mostly, he worked in geometry and function analysis.
JoAnne Growney: Mathematician and poet. Here is a link of her poems:

I can't think of anymore, but I do know that Mathematics is closely related to music and most mathematicians have some knowledge of music and/or play a musical instrument of some sort.
