Otherwise, how can you explain Sameer's selection to a national level singing competition. I was shocked when a kid who sang ordinarily a ordinary song of a nasal singer was selected among the 6 late entrants for the top 22. I have nothing against this kid. I'm purely talking in terms of the theme of the show, i.e. singing. It needed a Jagjith singh atlast to tell the truth that Sameer lacks "Saans, isliye awaaj kamjor lagtha hai our awaaj me sur nahi lagtha". If not for Jagjithji, I'm sure that day all the three jokers would have given A+.

Now I'll describe Sameer's singing: He absolutely lacks breath (same as Twinkle, lacks strength, melody not even in the vicinity). He strugles so much , one can even see his nerves on the neck. There is a misconception among the people, that whenever a person strugles too much for singing, he is "dil se gaa raha hai" .

Then come to his tantrams. I think initially from his facial expression I could observe that even he was surprised at the continuing selection of his. Later on he tried to overact to look more cute, staged various little dramas at various stages including the one in which Shaan wept.

All in all more than the shock it gives me pain to see this state of affair of our music, our people's sense of judgement, how a mass brain wash can be done. I appreciated Abhijith as a great passionate singer(he still is),but can not beleive he too is part of this biggest tragical joke in the history of this show, oh, it is such a painfull experience every week to change the channel whenever this cute kid Sameer jumps cutely on to the stage.

God please give a sense of judgement to our people.

The highlighted part is so disgusting where u have accused an eleven year old of acting🤢🤢

Do u think that u have more experience in music than Bappida,alkaji and abhijeei🤢🤢

U r entitled to ur opinion about anyone's singing but calling the judges ,jokers and sameer as an actor i sooooooooo.........🤬

In that case there were plenty other judges of repute who praised Sameer so much...they are not wrong either and therefore their opinion should also be respected....😃😃

I do not disagree.

Everyone's honest and unbiased opinions should be respected.

I am not a Sameer fan, but in the past few weeks he has sung really well and I think he deserves to be in top three. But what Jagjit Singh said about his performance of a ghazal was also true. He sang very badly that day.

Well ...if that day was a mediocre performance by Sameer ,then there have been days when he far excelled as well.The point is not this...the point is he is still a baccha who needs years of training to make it big ..and so do all the participants...it is just the beginning...what awaits all of them is years and years of practice and hard work.

Given that these kids are already so talented..I am sure the future belongs to them, not just to Sanchita, but to all...whether it is Sameer, Diwakar,Abhro, Neha,Pawni,Armaan, Pratik,Aishwarya ...it belongs to them all.....they are our singers of tomorrow !!!

Why is Sameer on the show?? Well he is on the show becuase the judges were pleased with him in the auditions out of the six extra kids. Sameer is on the show becuase of the judges. They must have found something good about him becuase they wouldn't just let anyone on the show like that. Sameer has won over the judges and the public so thanks to them, Sameer is on the show! He has great talent. Are you kidding me? They do not always give him good grades when he sings either good or bad. The judges have scolded him a lot and he even got a B once or twice I think. He is a very talented singer and he definatly deserves to be in the final 2 along with Sanchita! 😊

Is that enough of an answer for you on why Sameer is on the show?!?!👏He rocks!

Don't be jealous of him because you wish you were him. (no offence but you should not be talking that way about him...what has he ever done to you?)😕

I agree with Adi. Sameer has proved his capabilities not once, but many times (i.e. Ai Zindagi, Yeh hawaye, Don, Khaike Paan, the sufi song, Des mere, and so on).
