yes di ... I think or at least I hope that when everyone is talking about a contestant, they are only basing it on their singing talent and not them personally ... It is really sad .. I feel that somewhere down in their hearts there is that thing that he is blind .. i might be wrong ... It is a sad thing that Pawani and Abro had to leave before him ...

But personally, I feel that he shouldn't have gotten so far .. Coz he was nothing like Neha, Gurpreet or Armaan when the contest started ... But he still got so far ..

You're mixing a logical argument with illogical reasons. I agree with you that nobody should be getting sympathy votes. However, your argument that he only gets excited when he gets A or A+ is ridiculous. He's a kid. Every kid gets excited when they get positive comments. Why do you expect him to behave any differently. Stop having unreasonable expectations from kids. The reason to vote for someone or not to vote for someone should solely be based on their singing performances. NOT on personality or any other factor. You have undermined your own good argument by bringing in non-important factors such as his behavior or personality.

I felt very sad for Diwakar's parents when this arguement was going on national TV. His parents come accross as very proud of their son and they should be. They also seem to be in pain when he was attacked for sympathy votes. Diwakar is very bright young man who has risen above his obstacles. However he is not at the same level as abrokanti in terms of singing. It is double edge sword. One end is diwakar who is definitely role model for many childern like himself. At the same time abrokanti is talented kid who may have been overlooked due to soft spot all of us have for diwakar. Now question is it about talent? then abrokanti should have in the race. However majority wins and people chose diwakar for whatever reason. it is done so move one. I wish all the best to all of them.

diwaker is not bad! actually he sings very well, but i think soemtimes he sounds tired! he's extremely good in sad songs! but i liked his Oh saathi re !

no it's tottaly wrong ,cuz if he was getting sypathy votes then why did diwakar had gotthen less votes frm sameer and sanchita

EXACTLY u see ,he isn't getting symphaty votes cuz if he was he would ha been on top,and he's getting votes on his fabulous singing!!!!!!

Divakar has been getting sympathy votes. I have heard some people (who are voting for him) saying - He is Blind - Still he is so good - He needs to be appriciated

But what has Blindness to do with Singing

And rightly as the Judges (Abhijeet & Alka) say 'By saying such a thing & voting for him sympathically people are making him more & more disable'

Voting on line in North America dont count, you have to be in India to vote, so you can vote 100.000 times, it will not be counted, you are just wasting your time. No point, people arguing about Diwarkar, if divine intervention wants him to be in the final 2 or to win, this will happen, regardless of what people think. It is only in India that an elimated contestant can be brought back in, and I agree that it is the TV station making money, Even if parental pressure or public pressure was there, GS could have polited said no, that once a contestant is eliminated, that is it, I read a post that Abrokanti should be brought back in, then the show will never end. This is not Diwarkar's fault, it is his parents, GS and the public. 😃
