I would like to suggest you not to choose Shimla, as this place becomes too crowded. There are lot other places same distance from Delhi as Shimla, which are more exciting and beautiful.

It's sad but true Bhaskar. Shimla is so crowded and commercialised now. There's little of natural beauty left there.
