I listened to the songs and unfortunately I have to agree that they aren't that good -- something that you would listen again and again.

Ae mere humsafar is really very good compared to them.

Fine post, Salil ji.

Not sure if that song was discussed here, but the song " Tu pyaar ka sagar hai, teri ek boond ke pyaase hum" though picturised on Balraj Sahni seated in a chair/ wheel chair, holding an audience of girl children enthralled with the song is more vivid in memory for the spell binding acting of Nutan. The trapped look in her face as the song reaches her ears, and her anguish on hearing the song, the desperation in her face as she attempts to block out the song and then turning her rage onto the objects in her room and eventually breaking out of the room to run away is simply fantastic.
